I'm having difficulty coming up with a use case for one of these cans. I'm sure that they are well-made and have a number of nice features. Yet, when I worked construction 30+ years ago, we always had one or two 5 or 10 gallon water coolers on site. Each morning, one of us would rinse out the cooler, fill it with ice and then fill it with water. It gave the crew access to cold water for drinking all-day long. The SureCanUSA potable water can can't really be used for that purpose. It's not insulated, so the drinking water will often be warm, not cold. The lid is large enough for a hose, but I'd hate to try to put 5-lbs of ice in the can before filling it with water. So, for the most common reason I'd be hauling water for work or play, the SureCanUSA 'solution' isn't much of a solution at all. I'm sure there are other use cases for this can. It would be great for hauling 5-gallons of some liquid other than fuel that I cannot afford to spill or I cannot afford for the can to have a slow leak. But for drinking water?
The thought of a leak at the elbow for the fuel dispenser wouldn't allow me to feel good about the convenience. The thought of workers roughly handling that water spout also makes me.. apprehensive... 77 bucks the first time, maybe but fixing a water jug with available parts doesn't sound convenient either. .. gallugg asside. The insulated orange cylinders of liquidity are indestructible and low priced.
Great helpful video 👍

Thanks for weighing in. I appreciate it!
And those orange cylinders can be cleaned. It does not matter how clean your water is, your frequently used container will eventually need cleaned.
