I would love to have a "Bow Tech" camp, where people can come and learn everything from the 101 to advanced bow tuning techniques.

That's so close to trademark infringement that I don't think anyone who makes money through it would be willing to do it

I've watched a lot of your vids and one thing I picked up on was you said to ironwill bill if you tune the equipment it would be on point could you share what you do which is better than the rest. I have complete faith that will turn out to be truthful

Love this format. Every time I listen to MFJJ, I want to pack up my bow and come out west to get it tuned at the shop, shoot on the range, and experience that shop. Great job guys!!

Same, but ohio is a little ways away lol. Maybe when I get some time and some extra cash. I feel like it would be a very expensive trip to a shop, I'd have to get a bow built by him if I was to head that way.

Really like the title of “Fireside Chat”, the definition of which is an informal conversation between people. While MFJJ’s setting is perfect for video social media, the title goes beyond that and invokes memories of sharing stories around an outdoor campfire with friends. Your production is the perfect blend of personal stories and insights mixed with professional pointers about archery and hunting. Great job! Hope you continue it on a regular basis.

I really enjoyed it. Also, I didn’t know Tim was from Michigan! That’s where I’m from, so when you started talking about the 12 yr/14yr hunting requirements, it brought back a lot of memories. I’ve always loved archery and long distance shots ever since I was 10 yrs old and a want to go out west to spot and stalk in big open country. Thanks guys!

Having known MFJJ during the time he works for his dad and now owning and operating it himself, I loved hearing him mention the change he’s gone through. SVA has always been a good shop but the environment out there now is completely different and all the better for it.
Loved this first episode, boys. Hope this thing really takes off and can’t wait to see where it goes.

You could call it "Pissing Outdoors w/ MFJJ".
On a serious note, great 1st episode! There're so many topics you guys could tackle...
Short draw lengths and light poundage hunting setups.
Bring in other "tubers" of varying archery hunting backgrounds.
A day in the life at the shop.
Fish and Game and how their management or mismanagement affects the local herds, done with biologists and experts from other states.
Bring in guys you've just met at functions like TAC, dealer events, etc.

Started playing golf at 7 or 8 and got my first bow around 12. The two hobbies I've kept no matter what. There's just something about a pure iron shot, or that perfectly released arrow. I feel ya Timmy Boy.

Two things you could bring up in discussion fireside. Strings! I think a ton of people just get strings or shoot whatever but don't hear or see the fundamentals in some string set ups like certain dyes can make strings thicker or some over waxed brands may have less thread count to meet the diameter you want but have so much wax pressed in and it pushes put when shooting. 2- arrows- foc, kinetic energy, weight vs speed, vane selection for set up, arrow diameter

Glad TH-cam suggested your channels. It’s a small community in archery but this sort of platform brings us together and the information is incredible. When I first started shooting in 2000, you only knew what your bow dealer told you, which wasn’t much.

Love the channel and love the tips and tricks MFJJ puts out. I am super new to the sport, like 6 months new, but always wanted to shoot a bow since I was a kid. I am a huge DIYer and maybe add little DIY tips, like paper tuning for dummies, adjusting or fixing d-loops, for us that don't have access to an amazing proshop. Whatever yall put out it'll be worth it. Keep up the strong work.

This is awesome! I’d love to see some sort of a series within this fireside chat (like 5-10 minutes per episode) where MFJJ talks about one random company in the archery industry - give some facts about the company, it’s upbringing, some highlights and innovation that he’s seen from them.

  • @Electrazeek94

Super awesome idea! Love the content on anything any of you guys do. Keep the info / tips and tricks videos coming, I'm discovering that in my area of northern Indiana. There was/is lots of places for archery, but the fire has died on a lot of them. Which is sad, but understandable. I feel you guys are/ could spread hope ,to rekindle old flames for the small archery communities. The back stories are awesome, the outside the box videos on this vs that are great. A lot of good stuff to get people's wheels turning and make archery fun for everyone. Keep up the good work!

Also josh definitely knows what he is talking about, and drag on arrow veins matter a lot. I shoot a rip tko 3 vane aae 3” stealth and Easton full metal jackets 500gr. With 3 aae mini vanes in the same spot because of less drag! Thanks again guys
