Spurs have never had an issue scoring goals - they've got one of the best goal poachers in England on their team! Their problem is leaking goals unnecessarily and being overly "spursy"!

So many shots on target with quick build up, good passing accuracy and attacking threats well done Spurs but still we need some quality central defenders. Otherwise the intensity is looking so fabulous.

Considering the mix of players we saw, I thought Spurs played really well. So much to look forward to, with Bissouma, Maddison, Solomon, and even Lo Celso looking sharp and ready to rock n roll.

Just watched this 8 minute clip and I'm absolutely delighted for Destiny Udogie to score on his debut. I thought from these few highlights our attacking play was clean and decisive, but our defending...!!!! We're crying out for a couple of decent centre backs and that's pretty obvious. I hope it is to Ange too! COYS!!! 🙋♂🙋♂

I've always thought Davies was the next best defender after Romero and he did well as LWB last season when Perisic was injured. Even better than Perisic imo

Decent game even though we lost the game, what i saw today was a lion without its K9s with the amount of chances we wasted. We really need to improve on our finishing before the season starts and get better defenders in our squad

As a spurs fan, genuinely happy. They were so unlucky. Lo celso played superb and so did Solomon and bissouma, very excited for the up coming season😊

I thought Bissouma, Udogie, Lo Celso, Maddison, Perisic, Solomon and Devine were particularly impressive!
You can also tell that we will score more goals this season... For a first pre season friendly under a new manager and system I am excited.
The ball was moving so quick it made my eyeballs ache......loved it. Pity the defence is still shambolic.

We did 500+ passes and 90+% of it completed. Udogie, Solomon, and Maddison really shined. Sarr was fun to watch. His reach is 🔥. Also seeing Skipp being more confident and bold after the U21 Euros.

I would love to see a Giovani Lo Celso revival in a Tottenham shirt. He’s the creative midfielder that can play box to box that we’ve been missing. He is highly regarded within the Argentina set up for a reason! He could suit Ange’s style of play perfectly. COYS

As a West Ham fan that was the most enjoyable Spurs loss I have seen too.
If this doesn’t make Levy go out and buy BOTH Tapsoba and Micky then there is literally 0 hope.. if we played like this every week but a good CB partnership and a quality back up in case of an injury and we would seriously be up there. Top 5 get Champions League this year and £80million on 2 more players is not much to ask when this squad is not too far off some great potential

Los celso fits into this ange system like a glove hope we keep him if he doesn’t want out. Thought sarr and devine make a great impact in the second half and bissouma was class in the first half. With tanguy and bentancur waiting to join in that midfield is giving me tickles. Hope we reinforce in the defense tho. Great performance all round and a great games for our debutants madders, manor and destiny. With this front footed football big things will happen at spurs next season
