It's Kathy blowing the petals, and that seems to be pretty much always the look he gets when he looks at her. Sweet.
They're adorable. Fifteen years married and they still look at each other like newlyweds. For Bruno, they used a leaf blower because a fan didn't move the petals far enough before they fell, while Kathy and Cesar tossed the rose petals. They filmed that bit at double speed or something (including singing at double speed) so they could slow it down in the rest of the video. In Way Down, Kathy also got to throw the coveralls at Jeff, the clone eating popcorn out of the dustpan. In VoicePlay's In the Hall of the Mountain King, Kathy hands Troll!Geoff the box that glows inside.
On the off chance that folks aren't aware, the bittersweet aspect of this is that Kathy is losing her hearing. I don't think she's stone deaf, at least not yet, but it is pretty advanced hearing loss. It's genetic, if I remember correctly. There's a video about it on Geoff's channel.

This version, the classic version, and Vincent Price's version from "The Monster Club" movie are my favorites of this particular song...seriously can't go wrong with any of them and to hear Vincent Price sing "Monster Mash" is an absolute treat...gotta hear it and a good Vincent Price cackle at least once during October..more is preferred and ESPECIALLY on Halloween day itself.

At the end, there is a hint of Fur Elise. The woman on the sofa is his wife Kathy. The reason they had to reshoot is because the first one was just too creepy. Geoff's new one for this Halloween has just come out, and it's Ghost Riders in the Sky. And it's fabulous.

Thing I loved about this cover is Geoff kept the theme of the song from Bobby Picket's original being about the 'Big 4' monsters of cinema at the time. 1st Geoff was the mad scientist, of course, and following left to right - Dracula, Wolfman (scratching at fleas by his ear) and Frankenstein's monster. The Mummy wasn't there visually - kinda wondered about that, actually - but all four are represented in Geoff's choreography. Awesome reaction, as always, Maggie! It's so fun when Wolfman realizes his hips are moving! Frankenstein's Monster does the Floss! This video needs at least four viewings to fully appreciate it, one for each character, with headphones on so you can hear the heartbeat at the beginning, among other details. This was my first ever introduction to Geoff, that led me down the rabbit hole to VoicePlay and other a cappella groups. It's still one of my all-time favorites ... though his newest, Ghost Riders In the Sky, is AWESOME.

Hello Maggie. I really enjoyed your reactions to this and many others, following along with you. I've been singing the Bobby "Boris" Pickett version for 4 decades but I must have Geoff's version now for my karaoke business! I did notice that you missed something, with all that was going on. Maybe you just didn't have time to mention it but if you did you must play it back, it's in 2 points and it's an incredible part of the dancers. The 3 dancers, they add more to their dance moves each time they go back to them. The song lyrics "the coffin baggers were about to arrive with their vocal group The Crypt Kicker 5". In the original it jumps into the chorus again (they did the mash) but on this one he sings up to ... vocal group and then the 3 dancers go into harmony with the crypt kicker 5 and as that happens you see the real Geoff on the left counting to 5. Listen, the 3 dancers all break bones as they make a dance move and it happens again by the end of the chorus, it's a painful sounding crunch, had they been alive but it's the perfect addition to this version. I'm loving the reaction videos, they're keeping me from being depressed. Doctor found lumps on my vocal cords and now doing thyroid test and MRI, I can barely talk and it's driving me crazy that I can't sing at the moment. I'd love to have you hear me on some tracks I have recorded, very much Vince Gill Colin Raye type voice. I'd be your duet partner if surgery lets me sing again and I will probably be lower if other people's experience is also mine. I'd be honored if you would DM me or FB messenger? sped up effect is done by filming at a slower tempo then bringing it up to the right tempo again to make it look very mechanical / jerky
