One of the best cameras i used. I use a Nikon 28mm 2.8D with it. Like all cameras, it has a focus confirmation dot so manual focusing will be a breeze. It has the fastest flashsync speed ever made. 😊
Thank you for this video , Very nicely done. I am using the same camera ever since 2011 and the Nikon 1-J5 for my streetphotography and am not about to buy another camera. Just like you said "The Fun Factor".
@@RephaiaTurner thank you for watching and I appreciate the comment. You have a great arsenal of Fun Cameras! That's exactly what photography is all about!
One good reason to keep the autofocus "beep" turned on is that it tells you when the camera thinks it has found focus (and is not hunting for it any more). This is especially handy in rainy conditions or in low light. Both of these situations can make it tricky to judge focus through the viewfinder, and to be honest my eyesight isn't great any more. I think it's a bit harsh to say that people that use the beep are stupid (6:33). Thanks for the content. 👍
@@CasualInventor my apologies for being harsh. I'm also at the age when focusing gets to ba challenging especially in low or diminished light. Older cameras had a bright green LED indicator in the viewfinder like in the old Nikon F4s 35mm camera. That was easy to see and it was better than an audible confirmation. I wonder why manufacturers stopped doing this. Thank you and I appreciate the interaction.:)
i'm keeping my D60 and D80, they're indeed very fun :)

I love this camera and my D200. Nice video.
@@edc5338 I understand the appeal. I've had this camera for 6 months now and we're inseparable! ❤️
Don't hate me, but Auto mode and the other modes like sport or landscape are really good and fun 😊
@@GenX_in_the_wild that's quite alright. Keep having fun 😊
