- On the occasion of Vasant Panchami, the wedding ceremony of Vitthal and Rukmini will be held in the temple of Pandharpur today. Due to this, there is a lot of excitement in Pandharpur. The temple was decorated with flowers like a palace for the wedding. After the story of Rukmini Swayamvara, the actual wedding of Vitthal and Rukmini will be held around 11 to 11:30 am. A large crowd of devotees has been seen in Pandharpur since morning for this wedding.
वसंत पंचमी निमित्त आज पंढरपूरच्या मंदिरामध्ये विठ्ठल आणि रुक्मिणीचा विवाह सोहळा संपन्न होणार आहे. त्यामुळे पंढरपुरात एकच लगीनघाई उडाली आहे. लग्नासाठी मंदिर हे फुलांनी एका राजवाड्याप्रमाणे सजवण्यात आले. रुक्मिणी स्वयंवराची कथा झाल्यानंतर साधारणपणे 11 ते साडेअकरा वाजण्याच्या सुमारास विठ्ठल आणि रुक्मिणीचा अंतरपाठ धरून प्रत्यक्ष विवाह संपन्न होणार आहे. या विवाहसाठी सकाळपासूनच पंढरपुरात भाविकांनी मोठी गर्दी केलेली पाहायला मिळते आहे.
