Good food and beer to be had at the Harbour Inn and the shop at the garage up by the mini roundabout was well stocked, diesel was £1.75.9 a litre April 2022. The camping and caravan club site backs onto the walled garden site.
We spent last week in Dumfries & Galloway - stayed 2 nights at Garlieston, then 2 at New England Bay, both inspired by your 'Bays Tour'. Keep up the good work Bob/Jenny/Poppy.
I live in Garlieston and watching someone who has never visited and knowing every turn, person and car in the video is nice but sometimes frustrating to me, only because of how well I know the place
Sorry to say, when navigating women always give two options, even your sat nav, why does it give distances in feet ? Where did Jenny get that hat, I have just invested in two more Tilley hats, very practical in sunny hot temperatures. I have just bought off Amazon a radio controlled clock, giving time day and date, ideal for Motorhome touring, especially when the old grey matter is tired and past it ! Is this site worth a few days to look around, or is it just a stop over ?
Colin Humphries Thanks for your questions. I set the sat nav in feet, can't really think in yards or metres. We got a couple of those hats from Sportfish. They've got built in midge nets.Clocks are really useful when I'm touring. Today is Thursday. We're here 2 nights, having a look around tomorrow. Really like the bay here. We'll know better tomorrow if it's worth staying longer. Liking it so far.

Looks a lovely place. We borrowed a sat nav recently as we were going to Dorset, it almost went out the window :)
