This is better than watching football!
Thanks!
Nice work! Your videos are informative and detailed. Much appreciated.
Thanks!
Really looking forward to the next video- love this series!
Soon. Check back Friday.
Welds are looking pro
Thanks!
I liked the comment about trolls. They just looking for negativity. Looks like you got about a half mile of beads on that thing. Tons of practice under your belt now. New Pulsed machine? Yes welder been treating you nice.
Yeah I just got the new pulse machine from YesWelder. So far it has been an awesome addition to this project. Be sure to check out the review video I made if you want more info on it. th-cam.com/video/YyOiIbskFYs/w-d-xo.html
Keep after it Bob, you're doin a great job.
Thanks!
Great progress waiting to see it hit the water. You are a much better welder than I am. If I were doing that the welds would wander all over the place. Keep on keeping on.
Thanks 👍
Looks like Silver Streak is coming along nicely 😁
Sure is!
Great video Bob!
Thanks!
Back on the boat!! I've been waiting for this because it's an interesting build. If the engine has a oil "pan", you could shorten it (you've got the skills). Thanks for the interesting video.
We are going to be working on the jetski next. I'll know more when the engine is in the boat. Thanks for watching!
Can't wait to see it float!
Doing a good job name it just a pain in the boat
I like it.
Ohhh you are really awesome maker of your project speedboat ka-Metal I gonna watch all episode of this and I did not able to comment in part 1 hehehehehe love lots ka-Metal
Great work , we got a pulse mig at work for the aluminium works great. A lot of work in putting that boat together be super strong though
Yeah, I'm glad the hull is fully welded now.. I enjoyed welding it together, but I'm ready to move on to working on other parts of the boat.
So I've done this exact same thing. I switched to rsracecraft intake because the jetstream is just so long. For a 4 seater it's tough with the yamaha engine
Yeah I wish they made a version for Yamaha and a version for Seadoo. Instead of trying to get it all in one.
So being that the intake hole was cut too short from the factory, does that mean the notch on the bow in part 1 was actually correct?
The notch in the bow was not cut correct.
I did not see the video and comments you allude to. But everyone who puts themselves out there WILL get criticism, warranted or not. Yes, criticism hurts more than 1000 accolades. Two things...if you address them, you fall into the trap. You must ignore. Second, just delete their comments and move on. This is how the world works. America is fine. Just look at the positive comments, dude.
Do you think someone who has never worked before could accomplish this ? Or would it be smarter to pay someone to weld it
If you are comfortable welding aluminum, then either pay someone or buy a welded hull from the manufacturer.
Great video! I've been contemplating buying the YMW-211P. In your opinion is it a capable enough machine for an entire mini jet project? (with spool gun of course). Thanks!
Yes. I wish I had it when I started the mini jet project. It makes better welds on aluminum than my Lincoln MP-210.
What is the type of welding wire? Is it 4043 or 5356?
5356
Tôi muốn mua bản vẽ của chiếc này . Shop có bán không ?
Hair raiser😂
I looked recently at a diy 'tinny' design- shame the material costs were literally 3 times what a store bought one was- I could literally buy a 20ft boat delivered for the same price as the material costs of a 12ft boat if I went the DIY route 😞
I'm late to the party, so the boat probably already has a name, but I would like to submit "Joan Jettboat", "Water Blue Angel", and... "Chuckers".
Nope, still no name. Those are some good suggestions.
