Loved it, I am too old and crippled up now to fish like that. My biggest 3, came off Lake Quachita years ago. 1st was 76 lbs on 15# Big Game line and an ugly stick/ambassador 6500. We ended up killing it trying to get it weighted, didn't mean to. Then afterwards a couple years later, caught 2 more even bigger that we just released. One, my son n law simply waded out and sit on it until we could get it to where we could see it better in the light. All of these were big blues. I don't catfish except for flatheads, so blues get turned loose. I had good bait casting reels with clickers and salt water Shimano Reef Runner spinning rods with clickers. Hard to describe the thrill of the really big ones.

Wow, that was awsome fishing, can you explain how you determine some of those spots your fishing. Any things you look for specific. Thanks keep up the good work

Thank you Mike. We'll, first time in the river. I camped on a deep hole. It was about 25 foot deep. Then I caught the biggest one in an area of current break. That is, the river was on one side and an inlet to a bay met the river. Where the inlet to this bay met the river it was kind of deep but provided a break from the current. Fish like that and often feed right on the line where current meats slack, known as a current seam

@@ChasingtheMoby the biggest I've gotten is a 54 lb flat head and a 34 inch striper but the biggest blue is 24 lbs I'd like to see what a 50-60 lb blue pulls like hopefully a Mack truck. Stay dry and safe keep slinging baits and tight lines

@@ChasingtheMoby that’s amazing, my biggest so far was 42. Our river is so full of gar that summertime is more rare to catch big catfish because you’re fighting gar the whole time. Best times here for me have been October and November.
