Looking good👍🏾 The tricky part for me,was resizing the steering column. My car had power steering, so I had to remove all the old stuff. YES - the support bracket is nice. Get it.
@@mr.keepitreal2200 Yeah, that’s a “measure twice, shorten once” type job. The directions included are a bit complex, but then most people say just take 2.5” off the length.
Looking good Kalani.....great progress being made....😁👍👍
@@Toms-C3-C4.Corvette...WorkShop Thanks - Not always a straight line, but it will get done!
Yes! Great job. Going to watch all 3 videos now.
Thanks for doing this! Excited to do this on my 69
@@Luke_735 My pleasure. I’m having an issue with my steering column, so the next video will be how to rebuild one! 😅

unless you have a specific reason to remove the column I would not. I hate that job. there is a guy named klowny that has a really good video.
@@alberthodge631 Saw it, but I’m swapping the bearing, which they advise to do out of the car.
Degrease and mint out that area around the box for sure, that mud is no good and will hold moisture against the car.
@@justinpakarno4346 See Part 2!
@@thedrivewayC3 I realize it will make a mess but citrus degreaser and a dish brush would have gotten ALL the mush off the frame.
@@justinpakarno4346 Well… You gotta pick a path. I went pretty deep, but not paint stripper deep.
