Whoever did the reconstruction on your face did an excellent job. I never would've known if you hadn't said anything. With as bad as you described it, you're lucky to be alive!

I'm building a new pc and I'm researching how to protect my equipment/investment. I'm so glad I ran across your review. It was extremely helpful and informative. I used a PSU calculator online and it recommended a 850W unit. Do you think this would work with that?
And for what it's worth, I think you're coping very well with your childhood trauma from that electrical accident. I think after that experience it is extremely wise to be cautious!

I had the exact problem with mine! Red lights flashing, and the screen didn't work. Glad you cleared that up!

    Thank you for the video
Looking for good quality UPS now is not easy
APC product quality and reliability have gone downhill for me to the point that I cannot trust them any longer
TrippLite is a brand that I think is better than APC, based on purchase history and reading feedback, and the customer support line, which they answer and have people that actually help you.
You then have a full version of EATON UPS (which makes TrippLite), then you have CyberPower (which is not my favorite), and then you have other lines that the users may not have heard of. Like Vertiv, Furman/Panamax, and MinuteMan (which is my ultimate favorite, they make GREAT products, period! but their Pure Sine Wave stuff is expensive and not available in small towers). When looking for TRUE PURE SINE WAVE and NOT Simulated Sine Wave, your choices disappear quickly, as does affordability. Cyber Power makes a nice 1500PFCLCD unit, but I am not a big CyberPower fan, as I have had Cyber Power let me down a few times in the past, JUST LIKE APC as well. Tripp Lite is UL certified and just a nice working product that they stand behind. Thanks again!

I would like to see one tested on a scope to see if it is a true sine wave.

Pure sine wave is the best, more heat, uses some power, but the switchover is instant, and it has to be double-conversion, if it is a true sine wave UPS. It seems hard to believe this is true sine wave, and not just line interactive.

Thanks for the video. Was wondering if you know what the RJ45 capacity is? I haven't found it yet on their documentation. I can only hope it would be at 1GB throughput in this day and age. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the video.
I am DONE with Cyber and APC. I am looking for a new UPS but I am finding that even the ones that state PURE SINEWAVE, ARE NOT! There is one person on here that has put a scope to the UPS's and it is AMAZING just how bad they are.
When I ask to see a SCOPED test from any manufacturer they can't produce one, or will not produce one. So, then how do they check the QC of the products? I have a NOW large fortune in Cyber and APC, all of which are CRAP! today I have been looking into Eaton, but I am confused about why most of the UPS don't have the ability to connect to a computer or in my case a NAS. you have to go somewhere around 1000.00 to get into a system that connects to a computer or a NAS.

Why can't they connect to a NAS? I have a Synology DS1821+ and this UPS seems to have both a USB out and data ports I could configure via SNMP. @GamingTrendVideos, do you know if this UPS would have an IP address?

Can you charge the wireless screen but with Micro USB, not just on the UPS? What is the range on the wireless display?

Charging mine now, is it normal for the fan to boot up, then shut off whilst it's charging?

Not trying to be an arse, but a welding helmet or similar would be peace of mind.

What is the battery model? Is it a single battery?
I used to change my old UPS battery to a marine ones, deep cycle, from Costco. E.g., 2x9Ah to single 24V. At least, ones with decent electronics and cooling, that can handle prolonged work. So, wonder about this one.

    • @GamingTrendVideos
      @GamingTrendVideos  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

It is a single battery. I'm not sure which battery to be 100% but Eaton has a configurator on their site you can use to be sure.

@@GamingTrendVideos Thank you for the instant reply! Already tried this. As well as manuals, review, google search.
I only found mentioning 24V battery system. Now, you provided me with an important piece of information: this is a single battery. Datasheet mentioning VRLA (AGM).
Seems like I'll go for it.
Showstoppers to be 1) some special battery with electronics embedded (like vendor-locked inkjets cartridges). 2) The board is expecting 2x12V batteries, not connected in sequence. Since buying 2 full-size batteries is overkill for me. While single 24V marine battery from Costco beside the unit looks like a decent and inexpensive upgrade, once the original ones die.
