In central Albania We say "Ai shkoi nje te ftohte" for he cached a cold, but now has recovered. I Zoti I shtepise means the owner, but we use also "e zonja e punes". This one is very interesting. It literally translates the owner of the work, but the meaning is the person in charge of the work. The one who takes the decisions. We would call the preast directly "Imzot" like Imzot me fal se kam mekatuar. Beme te shkojme standart Albanian - bom me shku - central Albania, smth like we intended to go. Or we decided to go. Gjera is plural for gje, it means stuff, things in standart Albanian. Gjona is the version of central Albania. Gjalle means alive, but fun fact, ngjall in central Albania means recover. "Ai u ngjall" he recovered from the desease. Fundshpine in standart Albanian means "bottom" as body part. Cift (couple) is a Turkish loanword. Paja was still very important in Albania at least in my mother's generation. Years before the wedding they used to gather high quality dishes or sew selfmade sheets for the new bride to bring at her new home. Rroj/rron/rrojme is the main word for "to live" in central Albania.

We use "i shkoi" with the meaning of "pass" as well in the south. "i shkoi sëmundja" - the illness passed away / was gone.
