- When you are on a wildlife safari in India, there are many ways to find a tiger or any other apex predator. One of the most used methods by naturalists and drivers is listening closely to alarm calls.
So, what are these alarm calls? These are fear calls which the prey makes to alert the jungle, that the tiger is around.

The most trustworthy call is from Sambar deer because it has weak eyesight. And hence, it only sends out alarm calls when he sees the tiger close.

@@rolo6324 You need to learn more, these are not alarm calls. Normal calls have been added and labeled as alarm calls. You must feel pathetic to be so aloof to the facts and still try to troll other people. Good luck with your life bro, which I feel is worthless and could have been better food for predators.
Chital or spotted deer makes a call when it can smell the predator
Sambhar deer makes a call when it spots the movement of the predator
