Hey Kyle! Any chance you could upload CAD or similar files for the sub box and adapter rings please? Im capable of making them myself it would obviously just save me a ton of time on work you and your dad have already done an amazing job with. Love your channel!
I made all the same upgrades in my Jeep but until I added dash tweeters my sound still wasn’t great. Dash tweeters have been the best investment so far.
nice job! It is almost identical to the system I put in my TJ last summer. I went with Polk Audio 5.25" in the roll bar and fronts. But on the fronts I went with a component set up and mounted the tweets on top of the dash near the A-Pillars. Sub box was very similar but I dont have that fancy way of cutting everything out. I mounted a square 8 inch kicker sub. All powered by a Pioneer 5 Channel 600W amp. I like the 6.5 inch idea you showed. I do want a bit more mid bass for extra fill. I have a sony double din head unit but I cam going to switch it out and add a head unit that allows multiple camera inputs so I can add a front camera for off-road approaches etc...
Oh, I wanted to mention I mounted the amp under the drivers seat to the seat itself. I was worried that water might get in going through rivers, so I wanted to be extra careful and keep it off the floor.
I threw a Pioneer system in my TJ. I didn't see the need to spend an outlandish amount of money on a system. If the Jeep had insulation that blocked out road noise then it would be worth it but as it sits it is fine. Even if I did some dynamat type of stuff on the tub, it's not like the top is gonna keep it quiet inside. Mine is a 2002 and has the full soundbar. I used 6.5" speakers in that one with no adapters and they fit just fine but I did use adapters in the dash. For that 9-wire setup, great concept but those wires look pretty small. Is there a power limit when using that?
Can you do these upgrades without the aftermarket amp and keeping the oem head unit? I want to upgrade the audio in my jeep but I want to keep it as factory as possible.
You can replace the speakers but if you don't have a factory sub you cant keep it all stock. Will not sound as good without an amp and head unit. But upgraded speakers will sound better than factory speakers
Hey Kyle, I’m planning to to do a muffler delete on my 05 tj sport, my only concern are the fumes, iv hear horror stories of people blacking out while driving from the fumes. Have u had any issue like that? Love the video sounds great.
Thanks! Good thing is jeeps are not very sealed so I don't see this being an issue. Plus the exhaust still exists behind the seats. But if your concerned just continue the pipes to the rear of the jeep.
please upload cnc file for the 8" box pleas
Do you think your dad would open to selling those subwoofer boxes for the center consoles? I really like how clean it sits in there
Wow that's quite the sound upgrade lol. Sounds good even not in person
I need one of those sub boxes!! Love the addition on the top!

I approve of the sound test song choice lol
Very nice stereo system setup.
Dude has top end borderline audiophile speakers in his 20year old jeep and an eq curve that a 10 year old kid would set 😅
I applied a portable Ghostbusters siren into my TJ ;-)
Very clean and bet it sounds amazing! Nice job!
Thanks dude!
Great song choice

Great idea!
For anyone wondering they make a 6.5 speaker and bracket kit on quadratec when I bought it it was like $75 and it sounds great kicker speakers
I wish they sold just the metal adapter rings separately
Can you let me know the dimensions for that box?
Wow. Want to do the same to my jk
Hi brilliant video with the 9 wire. What are the red, two yellows, and orange wire running to?
Thanks for the help
Also another question I have, what did you do to the wires and harness that was connected to the sub under the center console?
Very Nice!!!
Thanks!

It is epic
Thanks Kyle!
No problem Josh! Thanks for watching
Anyway I can get a hold of that sub box since the place you got it has the template for it?

I think the stock sounded much nicer
Would you be interested in selling a sub woofer enclosure ?
No to much time and $$$ to make them
