you'd think they'd enjoy the PROMOTION .... but no, they think people are tuning in to hear PART of a song being sung over and they're missing out on cash. Plums.
Please react to It Ends With Us. It’s based on the romantic novel by Colleen Hoover about an emotional abuse and domestic violence relationships. It’s very emotional and intense to watch. It will probably make you cry your eyes out 😢😭❤️ It also stars (& produced) Ryan Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively as Lily Bloom. The film was released 14 days after Deadpool & Wolverine (Jul. 26) since it was released on Aug. 9.
George, Tatum's accent is actually true to the Cajun origin of the character and has been labeled as being spot-on by many folks from that neck of the woods.
Do you think it could possibly be due to the fact that Channing is of Cajun/Creole descent himself, and was born and raised on the Bayou? His accent is as perfect as it can possibly get because it is REAL. This is the reason he has always felt such a connection with the character of Gambit and wanted to portray him so badly for so long. I am so sick of ignorant people ripping on his accent.
@@jameskinstle6874 100%. However, it's hard to blame people for not being aware of it. It hits most top 10 lists for rarest AND hardest to understand U.S. English dialects, and let's be completely honest, they wrote the lines to interfere with the French part of the accent as much as possible. Lots of phrases and such that muddle consonants into strings of unintelligible vowels, specifically the line about not getting Juggernaut's helmet off his dome without his head coming with it (not going to attempt to type out the dialect for fear of making more a fool of myself). But yeah, it's really good, and it's kinda fun seeing people recoil from it - it's a LOT to take in at first 😆
Note Wolverine never called Deadpool a liar with the Johnny situation, he just said he got him killed. Also, according to the director, Henry Cavill said yes to playing an alternate Wolverine with zero hesitation. You can tell he's having a blast. The best cameo along with Gambit and of course Wesley Snipes as Blade.
One of my favorite "Blink, and you'll miss it" Easter Eggs is at the beginning when Deadpool's beating up the TVA agents with Logan's skeleton, when VFX Producer Lisa Marra's credit pops up, on the roof of Logan's mouth behind it is "24601" which was Jean Valjean's Prisoner Number in Les Miserables, played by Hugh Jackman in the film adaptation! xD
It felt like a genuine love letter to the early Fox and Marvel films. The behind the scenes clips over the credits was a lovely touch. Got me right in the feels
Gotta say it again, Simone’s reaction to the dance massacre at the beginning makes me so happy. You two have great reactions in general. Thanks for the entertaining content.
I have no problem watching this again because you two are ( imho ) the most entertaining reactors on the entire youtubiverse. All the other reactors are stunned and amazed by all of the cameo's in this movie but your genuine joy is just a little more pleasing and endearing to behold than the others 😉👍
I'm glad they reedited/reuploaded it, mainly because they are one of the few reactors that I go back and rewatch their reactions over and over and over again.
They're the best because they're opposites. If one misses something the other catches it. And they have opposite tastes in films they get excited to share little Easter eggs and trivia
The concept of "Anchor Beings" is such a great metaphor for those times where a movie or TV series fizzles out and dies, because that _one_ key actor leaves, or they kill off that _one_ character that everybody came to watch (probably _because_ the actor is leaving). The death of Logan _was_ the death of Fox's Mutants-verse. Sure, that's tremendously unfair to all the other actors and creatives working on the films, but it's still _true!_ 13:20 - *“Ah, god, I'm so happy they- He talked him to appear as Wolverine one more time!”* Ryan Reynolds did not talk Hugh Jackman into this; it was Hugh who called _him_ to ask if they could do it. As he tells the story, he had just announced that _Logan_ would be the last time he took on the role of Wolverine, only three days before he saw _Deadpool,_ and as soon as he saw it, he instantly regretted having made the announcement. He wrestled with sticking to his guns for a long time, until finally one day, as he was driving, the decision crystallised and he immediately pulled over and called Ryan to beg him to do this together. There was a prolonged pause on Ryan's end, and Hugh feared he was trying to come up with a gentle way of letting him down - But Ryan said something like, "Do you really mean it? Because we're having a meeting with Kevin Feige _literally_ this afternoon, and if you're in, we can pitch this right away." As it happens, if Hugh hadn't called, that meeting would have been the _last_ one for the foreseeable future, because up until then, none of the ideas they hashed out had felt right, and Ryan and Shawn Levy had started tentatively planning a new, unrelated movie that they'd pivot to, until they could think of a satisfying angle for Deadpool. They basically pitched the concept for this movie on the fly, and the rest is history. Ironically, "Deadpool and Wolverine " had also been their very _first_ pitch, but at the time Kevin Feige had said "No", because Hugh had said he was done with Wolverine, and _Logan_ was such a perfect ending for the character - but now with Hugh officially on board and eager, and with the Multiverse and the TVA firmly established, they had a way forward, and everything fell into place. 25:30 - *“That accent is terrible”* But very accurate, according to a lot of people who'd know. Channing Tatum grew up in the area for several years, so he knows it very well. If he had ever gotten to play Gambit in his own movie, he would certainly have had to tone it down to a much milder accent, but in this one they encouraged him to keep it at 100% all the time, so that they could make the joke of not understanding him. 29:45 - _"When I want your opinion, I'll take Wolverine's dick out of your mouth!"_ That's Inez Reynolds, or at least her voice. 36:38 - *“So he actually said all these things."* This tag of Johnny Storm as an epic-level shit-talker was what got Chris Evans to sign on for his cameo, and he insisted that it stay in the movie, even when some thought about cutting or replacing it. Ah, I see that you found out about some of what I wrote above, from the Trivia section.
I love how the actor who played pyro what is the same actor who played pyro in X2. In fact, bringing back so many actors was a big part of the fun of this movie
Some people complain that the fights generally have no stakes, as Deadpool and Wolverine can't die from it, but in my opinion, a 2 v 100 Deadpool fight is it's own reward.
Hugh Jackman is so fucking good in this. He absolutely did not need to go as hard as he did to make this movie work, but damn if the dude didn't give it 10000%. Maximum effort, indeed.
Some points of trivia I've learned: Many of the 2000s X-Men actors returned, such as Tyler Mane (Sabretooth) and Aaron Stanford (Pyro). Unfortunately Vinnie Jones wasn't up to do Juggernaut again. So who did they get? The guy who did Dude, in Free Guy. The localization team was extremely dedicated to keeping Deadpool's style: In one country, different voice actors dubbed Johnny Storm and Captain America, and Deadpool recognized who it was because of the voice. In another, the same voice actor dubbed Deadpool and Johnny Storm, and Deadpool commented later that 'now you won't be confused about who is talking anymore.'
Deadpool's comment in the beginning about there being "206 bones in the human body...7, if I'm watching Gossip Girls." His wife was in Gossip Girls. She's Lady Deadpool, BTW.
OH! Also... as for this being the final appearance of Deadpool (and/or Wolverine)... Ryan Reynolds, in an interview, when asked about a DP4, he immediately replied "Oh, God, no!" So... it's likely the SOLO DP flicks are done, and honestly, I'm 100% okay with that, because this film is just... beautiful. HOWEVER! Considering we know Secret Wars/Battle World is coming up... this film saw the end of Casandra Nova... so, The Void has, well, for lack of a better term, a major void in it... As Johnny Storm said "You're either food for Aliath, or you work for her"... now, there's no one to rule The Void.. chaos will ensue, Doctor Doom will surface... and BAM! We'll likely see Deadpool in Secret Wars, or others. The MCU seems to be leading up to a total Reboot, after/with Secret Wars... and, considering the Comic "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe"... it would only make sense for DP to be responsible for the reboot. He IS Marvel Jesus, after all! xD
I think the reason that Deadpool works so well is because it manages to be multiple things all at once. It is hilarious, crude, gory, violent, so cool, and also so heartbreaking and sweet all at once. I can't think of any other movies that manage to be so many things all at once. It is the best role that Ryan Reynolds has ever done. He was born to play Mr. Pool, just like Hugh Jackman was born to play Wolverine.
The bump has always been part of the Deadpool character. It probably is supposed to reflect his unique approach to making the hood & not bothering to trim it down, while also making the character a bit more distinct from Spider•Man. One of my favorite parts is the wreckage of the 20th Century artifact. I also liked the twist, when we find out that the mystery character is actually the Human Torch. It is a shame that you had to chop up the reaction, but I'm still pleased that we got a segment with Simone singing "Like a Prayer". Setting Logan aside, I think this movie made a GREAT Wolverine movie. MAYBE, just like the character of Deadpool required an R rating to bring out the character's full potential, I think there was an extra intensity to Wolverine, that might not have been possible with a PG - PG-13 movie. Now Logan was also a great movie, and maybe it wouldn't be fair to compare it with this one, but I think that compared the other two Wolverine origin movies & maybe the other X-movies, this movie and Logan are my two favorite Wolverine portrayals. In spite of being comedic at time, this film took it self and the genre very seriously. I think it's a great comic book film. I had some semi-high expectations, but it was still a pleasant surprise.
Why are some channels allowed to play a ton of the music, but others aren't? Not trying to throw anyone under the bus, but the Blind Wave reaction has almost all the music in tact and while it's cut, you can very clearly hear Madonna, The Goo Goo Dolls, Avril, and AC/DC.
They pay, from old experience, back when AVGN(N for Nintendo) era lots of people paid the studio's music license like samples and such. A real lawsuit had the Godfather 2 video game soundtrack in case where a content creator had to pay the two studios and he didn't know he had to pay the two he only paid the one
I did have this weird idea when Cassandra finally broke out of The Void and started mind ravaging Paradox that she did an homage to Doctor Who(The Husbands of River Song) when she said Mommy and Daddy are having a conversation. The actual original line was "Hush, Mummy and Daddy are busy." so probably it was just a coincidence... but I hope it's an educated wish. 😎👍
29:40 - I'm pretty sure that the flying skull is from Marvel Zombies. Deadpool was decapitated in that universe, and undead mutants don't have regenerative powers. So his skull remains alive, but he can't grow a new body, and his body can't grow a new head.
25:16 apparently gambits accents actually really good AND he knew the accent so well already that he was able to ignore the script and speak as gambit himself as well as making his own jokes as gambit.
Thank you for doing this. I am sure it was a lot more work. I caught the original version, then came back to hear Simone's absolute joy at that intro to find it muted because of copyright. This edit is much better.
The climax is surprisingly emotional. Getting Wade thoughts of Vanessa and his friends, but Logan’s X-Man lines being perfect for the character but also the perfect comment by Jackson on the quarter century he spent on this character AND the fact he was finally willing to go in costume
Notice that Nicepool doesn't regenerate and the fact no one will hurt Dogpool. That's why Nicepool carries him around . . . as protection. Also, Kidpool is Ryan's kid and Ladypool is his wife.
Wolverine can get drunk….unlike Captain America whose metabolism is so high that he can’t. Logan just won’t die from it because is liver will just heal.
Congrats... Yours was the BEST reaction I've watched for this movie... Every laugh, cringe, and shock face was right on point. I had the exact reactions watching it myself. No other reactors came close. Thank you for loving and reacting appropriately to the opening credits Bye Bye Bye song, it was awesome However, my only criticism is... during the multi Deadpool fight scene... for this edit, you seemed to miss commenting on the Stan Lee cameo on the bus poster. (I didn't see the Patreon cut) Otherwise Very Well Done!!
That red transporting demon is named Azazael. He’s Nightcrawler’s dad, which is why Nightcrawler has a barbed tail and can teleport. Mystique is his mom, which is why Nightcrawler is blue. Nightcrawler’s teleportation isn’t a mutant ability; it’s a demonic power. He teleports to Hell first and then to the new location. The other X-Man complained that his teleportation stinks, because it smells like brimstone.
The Deadpool "condom tip" on the back of his mask is comic accurate :P Also, the big burly dude in Cassandra's compound with the red/white striped tank top? That's a CLASSIC Punisher villain known as "The Russian". Now THAT is a deep fuckin cut Channing's cajun accent is spot-on 100% perfect. It's actually what they call "Hollywood" Cajun so that is' somewhat understandable. Real cajuns from out on the bayou are stupid hard to understand :P I always find it funny when people are surprised that Nicepool can't regenerate. Remember, the mutate procedure unlocked his regeneration, and that pushing all the tumors out to his skin made him super ugly. Nicepool is handsome, thus no regeneration.
Granted I haven’t kept up with the last 20 or so years of X-men comics lore but at least during Grant Morrison’s run in the early 00’s Cassandra isn’t flesh & blood but rather a “tulpa,” a thought given form. Her physical body was destroyed by her twin Charles in the womb and she lived as a disembodied mind until a bunch of other lore-stuff happened and she was powerful enough to manifest a new body for herself. She is far, far stronger than Charles is and during the height of her powers was one of the strongest mutants in the marvel universe.
2:57 you guys… have given the best reactions out of the like… 8 times I’ve rewatched this movie with reactors… I’m incredibly high right now…. I think I accidentally ate two doses…. 🥴😵💫 …it’s literally kicking in right now….
Not sure if anyone mentioned it but Ryan didnt have to talk Hugh into it. Hugh actually contacted Ryan about wanting to come back and do the part. Also the whole Johnny Storm rant. They had que cards ready for Chris so he wouldnt have to memorize the rant. Well in Chris Evans style he not only memorized the whole thing and didnt need the cards, he got it right in just 2 takes.

@jameskinstle6874 , Exactly right. 💯
It’s a very good Cajun accent. If they ever want a Gambit feature he’d have to tone it down or go for more of a New Orleans yat accent.
Seems like nearly every reaction channel feels the Gambit accent is terrible. From what I've read, it is near perfect.

The climax is surprisingly emotional. Getting Wade thoughts of Vanessa and his friends, but Logan’s X-Man lines being perfect for the character but also the perfect comment by Jackson on the quarter century he spent on this character AND the fact he was finally willing to go in costume
3:45 George tried. He knew.
How is it even CANADIANS don't call out the CN Tower in the desert fight scene?!! I feel like I'm taking CRAZY pills lol
This was a great movie! Great reactions! Thanks!
18:28, 21:14, Simone's laugh just gives me life.
Just another reminder to try and watch these videos AS SOON as they are uploaded.
genuinely forgot for a moment that i'd already watched this until i saw the "reupload" on the thumbnail. still gonna rewatch this one!
14:12 chris evans played johny storm/human torch in fantastic 4 before joining the mcu.
I had forgotten Hairy-Lou Retton. Thanks for the refresh.
29:28 that's Ryan Reynolds' daughter saying those things
The Xavier family are all Omega Level and beyond. They all have Godlike powers.
Im happy for the upload because i totally forgot how many pickles.
I'm just gonna toss some appreciation for "Juggernaut's Jugger-nuts" because no one ever mentions it.
11:41 is that Henry Cavill's Wolverine making his Mission Impossible's moves??? 🤣🤣🤣
Simone's hysterical laughter during the opening scene is everything I want from the internet.
Simone’s squeals of delight will live on in my heart to bring me joy on sad days 🥹
31:34 Headpool actually XD
You can tell Simone is an 80s baby because of how incredibly visceral she reacted to the backstreet boys dance.
Same girl.
Me thinking it's couldn't be more attracted to simone: Simone sings beautifully.
19:26 the dog won an ugliest dog contest. I forget which country.
The UK
@vincegamer thanks!
Now he sees: Charles Xavier's twin, in light of ST: Nemesis' Picard clone.
Did you notice the burnt out car and steamer trunk from "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" @18:32?
29:43 Yep that's Matthew McConaughey
Notice that Nicepool doesn't regenerate and the fact no one will hurt Dogpool. That's why Nicepool carries him around . . . as protection.
Also, Kidpool is Ryan's kid and Ladypool is his wife.
Hey George, that's a novelty mug. Nobody actually uses them as drinking vessels, unless you're at Octoberfest.
Wolverine can get drunk….unlike Captain America whose metabolism is so high that he can’t. Logan just won’t die from it because is liver will just heal.
Who doesn’t want dogpool kisses lol I love that dog😂
God damn copyright crap. Do Label know, that people might actually buy stuff if they hear a song?
I so love how you use the youtube warning itself to cover the graphic visuals lol. Thats meta on its own ha ha
Really enjoyed Simone's singing on the first upload, happy to rewatch, sorry for you guys!
Didn't I already watch this reaction. I'm thinking of that scene at the beginning of super troopers. 😊
Congrats... Yours was the BEST reaction I've watched for this movie... Every laugh, cringe, and shock face was right on point. I had the exact reactions watching it myself. No other reactors came close.
Thank you for loving and reacting appropriately to the opening credits Bye Bye Bye song, it was awesome
However, my only criticism is... during the multi Deadpool fight scene... for this edit, you seemed to miss commenting on the Stan Lee cameo on the bus poster. (I didn't see the Patreon cut)
Otherwise Very Well Done!!
Actually, Channing grew up in Cajun country and that accent is spot on.
The skull is "Headpool".
girl tear up in end so adorable :D
The Deadpool "condom tip" on the back of his mask is comic accurate :P
Also, the big burly dude in Cassandra's compound with the red/white striped tank top? That's a CLASSIC Punisher villain known as "The Russian". Now THAT is a deep fuckin cut
Channing's cajun accent is spot-on 100% perfect. It's actually what they call "Hollywood" Cajun so that is' somewhat understandable. Real cajuns from out on the bayou are stupid hard to understand :P
I always find it funny when people are surprised that Nicepool can't regenerate. Remember, the mutate procedure unlocked his regeneration, and that pushing all the tumors out to his skin made him super ugly. Nicepool is handsome, thus no regeneration.
TH-cam: "We detected a 1 and a 0 of copyrighted music and a SWAT team has been dispatched to your location."
I came here...a month later...to say I finally get the intro. Dang you, ouija board. 😆😆
That accent if gambit is actually pretty on point for Cajun.
Simone is so happy with bye bye bye.
hey, dogpool is adorable!!!!
The flying skull is Headpool, he comes from the Marvel zombies universe.
1:25 "Don't call me a you you, you you you, you!"
Hawkeye Pierce
2:57 you guys… have given the best reactions out of the like… 8 times I’ve rewatched this movie with reactors… I’m incredibly high right now…. I think I accidentally ate two doses…. 🥴😵💫
…it’s literally kicking in right now….
I have watched both versions of this reaction and neither one of them are disappointing.
I'm still gonna watch it again with yall and you can't stop me
