WOW ! Love, love, love your cover ! The BEST I've ever heard ! So stirring ! Sung with so much passion , heart , & soul . . . you made this song your own ! The way you sing it . . . absolutely "ain't no grave" gonna hold your body down : ) No doubt Jesus , Gabriel , & a band of angels love your cover as much as I do !
First heard YOU & this song about a year ago on Out Of The Woods with John Colcord . CRAVED to hear it again , searched TH-cam immediately after play & was bummed to find that it wasn't uploaded . Tonight I searched again & was so delighted to find it ! Thank you , thank you , thank you for uploading ! Your cover will now be a daily fix for me ! : )
    Cheers ! . . . from the Sunshine Coast , Powell River, B.C.

Well hey thank you SO much for the love and thanks to John Colcord for playing us! I grew up in a very religious household and gospel music is where I learned to sing, starting at about age 5 ha. So glad you enjoyed this version...more music coming soon! :-)

The guy on the left is playing a Canadian-made Art & Lutherie $400 (?) acoustic guitar. Sounds great. Great playing. Same maker as Godin, Seagull, Norman and Simon & Patrick guitars. Made in La Patrie, Québec. I have a Simon & Patrick Showcase mahogany dreadnought. It's as good or better than any Gibson, Martin or Taylor. It cost me $1100 at Long & McQuade. Plus, Canadians, you're not paying the 25% CAD-USD exchange which is tacked on the price. Jim in Alberta.

Jim you are spot on about this guitar Grant is playing. It's truly an incredible find...just a little parlour A&L that he picked up in Toronto at Steve's Music - it fast became his standard stage guitar for all our shows, and almost literally everywhere we go people come up and ask him about it. We just all love how it sounds - punchy, great tone, very playable, and unique - of course it doesn't hurt that the guy playing it is killer haha! Thanks for your feedback! :-)
