Yes! You have the best wig making video on you tube. You showed us the important details that many leave out when they are doing their wig making tutorials. Attention to detail is very important and you are the best because of your genious!!!
Just wanted to say your video is so informative and I love how laid back you are. I could listen to you teach all day! you are very understanding. Better then my college professor. Lol I'm really looking forward to doing my first sew in. I have so much determination that I know I can do this. Thank you so much.
Mui89 LOL! Thanks! I am a college professor who hates to give and grade homework......lol So I don't.....lol. Thanks so much for watching. Let me know if you got any questions. =)
Out of all the videos I've seen on "how to make a wig" yours seems to be very detailed, you have even explained your method of sewing (the blanket stitch) and how you layer your tracks which I've wanted to know how people do it as other youtubers don't really explain that. This video has made me really confident and I can't wait to make my wig and try out this method. REALLY helpgul video.
out of all the video I have watched to create a wig this was the most easiest way to understand how to make it ! OMG im gonna make me my own wig ! Great video !!!
YES! just a tad bit of info went a long way with me...the track spacing I needed that...I made a good wig on the fly once but did not take note on how I actually made it...my second wig looked like a bouffant and NOT in a good way... close tracks all the way through...never wore that! So TANK' YOU!
Girl this makes me wanna go and make a wig today . You did such a amazing job . Omg . You don't understand how many videos I watched , and was still confused 😐 . Thank you !!!
IKR, Same here and I 've watched close to a thousand videos on here and other sites but just never could really catch on. SOO Frustrating! Plus I find that doing Caucasian Baby Fine Blonde hair has been harder to find info on. If you know or have any tips for me I would DEFINITELY appreciate any help I can get. BLESSED HOLIDAYS! KEEP SMILING~
Sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
I only buy from the hair site you mentioned! I have everything you showed us to use. I still need to watch your "How to make your wig head your size" video though. Thanks for your diy info!
this is the best video I have ever seen on here. thanks so much for doing it step by step for those of us who have no clue to what we are trying to do, I am off to the beauty store to start this now. Thanks for giving me the confidence!
I've never watched a wig being made before. You explained everything very well, the video was excellent for viewing each step! Makes me want to go make a wig now. All I was looking for was a way to make a tiny beard for my dog out of his long hair that I cut off! lol
Thank you for sharing. This video was very informative and helpful. I Especially appreciate the images of the stitch pattern! Definitely sharing with my girls!
Hay girl I agree with a lot of the ladies. #8 and #3 you should do. But if I have to pick just one PLEASE do #8!!! The just love how it swoops to the side of the face. It doenst look like a boring hair style. Love you :)
tis really helped me ALOT!!! because ive been having some trouble with the fold over method. i could never get it to lay down!!! but i didnt know you had to sew through the weft to get it to lay down. Thanks this really helped me!!
Thanks for posting such a great video!!! It was very easy to follow and even inspired my mom to begin to making a few wigs for herself. Bravo Beauty Cutright!!!
Your video was so clear and easy to follow! I just finished my first wig and it turned out great with your instructions. I will never buy a wig again, I'll just make it. I'm excited to do another style. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!! I have alopecia and am trying to make a wig to wear in the pool. Your instructions were perfect. Now I can rock a nice look when I am poolside.
Thank you so much for this video. It is head and shoulders above other wig making videos. I love the fact that it is very detailed and explains what stitch you use. to m
Thnx for making this video I have watched 100s of videos on yt but yours was the mist informative this will be my third attempt at making a wig with closure but every time you make a mistake you learn more. New subbie;)
Thanks! I just purchased a wig that is thin in parts--I'll add the 'bundle' hair to it to fill it out some. It should work out great, and look much better!
I love this video. You are a great inspiration to me. I have been practicing on a dome cap and been catching hell. You tell how much to space buy you shoe actual stitch and everything needed to get done.
I was trying to figure out how to sew into a wig cap because i was trying to make a wig out of yarn for cosplay. of course this isnt exactly the same as what i need to do but this really helped!!
I have short dew to damage which I had to cut. However I cannot seems to find a hairdresser in my state that I'm at, so you tutorial really helps me a lot.
#14. This is a great video. Very detailed. I realize that the clerk sold me a Stocking Wig Cap. I must return the cap. I learned from your video before opening cap. I will get a wig holder and colorful pins. Thank you for the inside out tip.
it's my first time wanting to try to make a wig for my self. Hopefully iv learn something. when I finish I'll let you know. thanks for the tutorial, I have ordered all the equipment you used. tired of sitting for hours to make my hair.... thank you... will update you...
Thanks for a great tutorial! I hope to try your techniques on seven inch doll wig caps and wefting. I have to find a head I can pin through to put the wig cap on first.
Thx for the video. I found it very helpful for a first time wig maker such as myself. You should do looks number 6 or 13. I'm really feeling number 13...the color combo is cute.
I got mine from my local beauty supply store. Just google weaving cap instead. There are many brands and the brand I have was only available at the bss I went to in Detroit =) They are all the same though
I'm getting into wearing wigs n u just made this seem easy n inexpensive. idk if I can do this or not but thank u so much for this and ur wig turned out beautifully
Hey I make wigs and I only charge 85$ Also if you order the hair from me the wig is free. My contact information is tayslovelybundlez@gmail.com or you can visit my Facebook page Tay’s Lovely bundlez
Great instructional video. You talk when its necessary and let your talent of wig making take center stage with appropriate soft music in the background. Keep up the good work.
that was a beauitful job and smart to !!. from everybody's videos yours is the best that i had ever seen!!. this will b my frist time doing this .. thank u soo much please do more !!.
When you got to the other side of the closure did you pull it then sew it or did you just sew it down? Im asking because I tried this but my part was stretched wider after I put it on my head because of the lace is stretchy. So am I suppose to just sew down the other side and not pull it or am I suppose to pull it then sew it? I know with the lace closure you have to make sure you pull down the other half so it will lay flat. So i was wondering do I do the same for the invisible part one?
You do a wonderful job. at demonstrating. You're very professional, organized and apparently a real designer. I noted the dress form and sewing machine in the background; which explains why you have the good sense to sew instead of using glue on your wigs. In the long run I would think the sewing makes the wig last longer, easier to wash and maintain and it probably gives the hair a lot more natural movement and body. I do not care for the head hugging glued wigs
Sorry for the late reply, but try looping the thread once you start instead of pulling the thread all the way to the knot. I hope that makes sense...lol
I never knew I was interested in wig making. So, you use an upholstery needle! And there’s a special device to hold the foam head secure and to angle it. A blanket stitch and a backstitch as when I learned how to sew. I feel I could do this if I ever needed to!
Thanks for making this video. I was just wondering how to make a wig was wanting to do some crazy ones and this was a great video and you’re very talented. Thanks for sharing this
How you you see on the tabs towards the front of the head? Does it make the wig feel lose if they're not tacked down when place on the head? Great video btw
Great video. The wig came out great and I would love to see the ciara bob, I want to make that wig myself lol. I just got into wigmaking this year per clients request. And I'm always looking to learn more. That styrafoam head drove me nuts the hole at the bottom kept growing. I went to my local bss and purchase a black plastic wig maniquin for under 30 bucks and its made to sit on the holder. I posted it on instagram.
Very nice. However, I didn't see what you did with the side tabs. If you cut the cap in front (underneath the closure) will the adjustable strap still work? Anxiously awaiting your reply?
Awwwwww you really made it so clear, this my first time of watching wig video and am super excited and wish to learn more from you, please how do I contact you, I stay in Nigeria. thanks a lot and am waiting to hear from you.
Great video! Can you please share the name or model of this particular wig head? I would like order on Amazon. And I would like to get the one you have that swivels. Thanks!
Hi! I just came across your video series and I am EXCITED!! I have been trying for MONTHS to make my own wig and have had 3 MAJOR FAILS!! I think I am using the wrong type of caps. I have tried the dome caps and stocking caps with gluing. And they have ALL come out WAY TOO SMALL! SO FRUSTRATING, TIME CONSUMING AND EXPENSIVE! So I am INSPIRED by your tutorial! This time I am going to try sewing on the weaving cap. Do u have any advice for a newbie?? Thanks and thank u for the tutorials!
Hi, I would have actually liked to know how you dealt with the side flaps of this cap. Did you sow the tracks on them as well, when you reached them? (Didn't look that way, as you demonstrated the fold over method just around where the flap was, so I'm not sure...) Also, I am wondering, I would like to make a wig I'd be able to style up as well, without people seeing the cap staight away. Do you have any advice at all? Thanks
Great video! Do you have any suggestions for a good weaving cap? If so can I find the caps online anywhere? All the beauty supply stores in my area have to same weaving caps which are too small.
Yes! You have the best wig making video on you tube. You showed us the important details that many leave out when they are doing their wig making tutorials. Attention to detail is very important and you are the best because of your genious!!!

Very much appreciated that you went slowly and explained your steps clearly. Never knew about the 'wig head stand' so thanks for that bit of new info.

Thank you for showing actual stitching techniques
YES! just a tad bit of info went a long way with me...the track spacing I needed that...I made a good wig on the fly once but did not take note on how I actually made it...my second wig looked like a bouffant and NOT in a good way... close tracks all the way through...never wore that! So TANK' YOU!
