Welcome! For nearly 25 years, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Cook County has helped abused and neglected children who have become lost in an overwhelmed and under-resourced foster care system find a place to call home.
Currently there are over 6,000 children in Cook County's foster care system. Last year 300 CASA volunteers donated more than 10,000 hours to help 700 children. However, due to limited resources we can only help about 10 percent of the children who need us.
