It's basically what Siwon says in the bridge, people sometimes refuse to listen to them because their music is "outdated", and there's also the question of them saying "You're welcome" because tbh, in Latin America we knew of SuJu before 3rd gen arrived, so many people consider them as a gateway for other kpop groups.
Super Junior never stop at one genre. They love to try any genre they like for their new comeback and since they have their own label makes their genre more diverse. Since debut, they did pop rock, bubblegum pop, metal rock, RnB, EDM, Funk, Soul, Jazz Swing, Ballad, Classical, House, Trap and Hip-hop. Even they being the first for debut in Spanish countries with their own Latin Pop songs and charted there.

There's only one word to perfectly describe SUPER JUNIOR. It is *FUN* Be it their music or their characters/personalities, everything about them is fun and enjoyable. Their old songs are especially fresh and exciting. For example, Mr.Simple, Superman, Sexy Free and Single and Mamacita. The lyrics for these songs are so witty and clever. (I'm not an ELF btw. I am just a casual listener of Suju and a fan of their variety shows. I mean they have a reputation as the best variety show's idols so it's a must for a KPOP fan to follow their shows.)
