The tutorial was very well explained and informative, however I am not sure how to make it where the weather/daynight does not continue when you enter a building.
You need to copy those events to the maps that you want them on. And not copy them into indoor or other maps. The events only work on the map they are running on.
I would love a tutorial on how to do a basic calendar system like harvest moon/stardew valley that works with a day night cycle. how would you make random weather to correlate to seasons? so snow only falls in winter? how would you make it so certain weather like heavy rain is much less likely than sun for example?

Thanks Man! But what about having a remade PE or Parasite Eve gameplay style, or Resident Evil type! They don't usually need any Day/Night because that would severely conflict with story / entering buildings interaction with people. So like, you couldn't really go into an office at midnight to tell somebody you completed something, and without a watch or clock showing the time of ay or night how would you (the player) ever really know!? what time of day or night it is.

Yes and you could also manually turn the switches off upon entering an indoor map!

You could make another duplicate map for the night mission! And if that quest is active transfer to that map instead of the day map!
