I visited pomegranate farms in the North and Negav desert areas of Israel. They did not do such steep raised beds, rather 1 feet high & 6 feet curved swell. They have inline dripping at 5 feet apart on either side of the swells. Brother, visit once it is very useful for serious farmers like you. They get 52 tonnes per hectare.
