Awakening - Source for farm (move spd & range increase) - used in video. Origin for damage.
Links - Grand Approach, Convert Cold Dmg, Fighting Spirit, Concentrated Weapon Dmg (max dmg) or Savagery (better farm), Melee Dmg Amp, Spell Activation on Attack.
FROST SHOCK (Activated):
Awakening - Origin
Links - Strike, Mana Storm, Concentrated Area Dmg (max dmg) or Area Effect (better farm), Element DMG Amp, Cold Penetration, Spell Activation on Attack.
ILLUSION HOOK
Awakening - Source for 15% increased damage to enemies from pain debuff.
BLIZZARD (Activated from Illusion Hook)
-Blizzard stacks a debuff on the enemy that increases cold damage.
ILLUSION AXES (Toggle needed for shock debuff - extra 20% dmg taken):
Links - Convert Lightning Dmg (needed for continuous shock), Continuous Shock (applies shock debuff), area effect, dampen resource cost.

SPECIALIZATION 2 - Wrath - Get Sharpness, get 8% dmg amp, get 40 crit rate/20 crit dmg
SPECIALIZATION 3 - Bonfire - get 10% strike amp, if low atk spd - get punishment otherwise get close range battle

Weapon considerations:
2-hand sword (highly recommend for the weapon range), 2x 1 hand weapons (dmg), 1 hand & shield (defense)
Armor considerations:
Prefer armor only until armor cap (75%). Once armor cap is reached work in dodge gear.

weapon: atk dmg, weapon range, spd, cold dmg, cold dmg %, atk dmg %, crit rate, crit dmg
helmet: hp%, hp, resists
chest: hp%, hp, phys dmg taken (-%), resists
gloves: hp, atk spd, crit dmg, crit rate, resists
feet: move spd, melee dmg, hp, resists
amulet: hp, hp%, cold dmg, ele dmg%, resists
belt: hp, hp%, mana pot effect, mana pot cd recovery, resists

Hey, I did like the old build videos better. There was reasoning for choices and video of the gameplay is almost the least important of it all, at least not to this extent. Also what you are missing from these videos, is the content level one can do with it and a unified dps test. This play could be recoded at T1 map for all we know and on that map you can take almost any skill, with any link runes and wipe the stage.

Unfortunately those videos take way longer to record and I just don't have the time to continue doing that. Most people are only interested in how the skills look together for their decision on a build. Info becomes obsolete in the old videos where they can be maintained here via video description. Also, most builds in the game can complete all content in the game with enough investment.

Hammer only has 7 points to use. I don't know how you can put 9 points here?

I believe finishing all the acts gets you 2 more points in specialization 1.
