Thanks for this vid man. Needed info on the origin awakening of TE guess I'll go with source. Im using TE to link to Ogre arrow. Mapping kinda meh but great on single target dmg. Converted OA to physical too.
I've been running Dagger Throw linked to Thorn Explosion. On Dagger Throw, I have Chain Impact and Multishot, along with Find Weakness. I still need a Physical Conversion rune before I go whole hog on scaling physical. I would call my clear outstanding with this setup, however. This setup gives me overlapping explosions similar to fireball. Basically, I am scaling attack speed/speed, crit chance, and cr it damage mostly. I'm only level 70, so we'll so how it performs once I hit maps but I feel like it's pretty solid dps.
I got that idea from you, instead of illusion hook I use thorn explosion for debuff and stats requirement is only strength so I don't have to change anything
So is, I’ve only just finished act 4 but nothing has given me trouble. Damage is fantastic and clearing is pretty good too coz of fireball. Minced act 4 boss in about 10-20seconds

nice - yeah i saw a few guys converting to phys. seems like a good idea considering the big dmg amp you get when converting and lower armor is cracked

Sounds good. You might want to convert thorn explo to poison since dagger throw adds venom. The venom is actually a decent amount of damage.
im using thorn ex mixed with explosive slash with fire convert
I used this paired shield strike. It's dot is insane
How are you buffing the bleed?
Do you think thorn will be good when paring with combo ?
It will be decent for a while but you'll only be able to get 2 blessing effects and that's if you convert to a diff element.

I tried to thorn explosion to my wheelslash awakened to verity for bleed, slap some lower armor and endless pain it add 50m to my damage

ijust think area is bad , but is great at dealing small hits to kill the santa claus event enemies
Yeah it's not the all-around best skill but the damage def insane.

Can they do overlapping damage? I looked at it a good bit and wasn't seeing it do overlapping damage.
Normal skill, to my build with Cross Slash + Hook still much better than with this skill. Just look more fun.
