Unfortunatly the Lumineth list was a pretty unoptimal one, and seems like it didnt have much of a cohesive plan from list building stage, Split up Cav for example, and a Ballista, a lone 10man archers, a 10man lone Wardens and so on. Mean while S2D was a fairly strong list, and plays much better without planned out strategy of the army. Lumineth are STRONG but also squishy and require a lot more "Perfect" tactical and strategic choices, you get punished a lot faster for mistakes with them then S2D do. But still a fun battle to watch! :) I have 8 AoS Armies, S2D & Lumineth is 2 of them. My current favorite Lumineth list has: ____________________________ Generals regiments: Ellania & Ellathor 10 Vanari BladeLords Regiment 2: Lyrior 20 Sentinels 20 Sentinels 20 Wardens. Regiment 3: Scinari Enlightener - Silverwand & Masterful Tactician. 10 Ydrilan Riverblades Endless spell: Krondspine ___________________________ Always activate -1 to hit for your units & select wardens most of the time to get the 5+ crit. Give Blade Lords -1 attack for units fighting them and EllaElla (They stick together). Scinari Enlightener jumps into the faction terrain, Gets 3 spellcasts, Deffinely try to get off her Unrendable spell prio with reroll, and double tap it if it goes off, so Both blade lords & Warden are rend immune, Get off that 5+ Ward aura for the wardens with either enlightnener or Lyrior, either of these 2 spells that DON'T go off you try to cast again in opponents hero phase with Enlightener so you get another reroll chance. All in all you'r sitting on 6 spell casts, use 1 of them to get Krondspine up, but not priority over 5+ Ward bubble or unrendable. The 2x 20 Sentinels do a LOT of damage when they get to shoot and then shoot again with one of them in opponent turn! also the Nurgle -1 on wound rolls doesn't affect shooting. Lyrior also gives 1 free all out attack in shooting and then in Combat phase. The Riverblades can act as a screen if need be, potentially even jumping away from a scary unit that charged them into another less scary enemy unit! OR later on you can teleport them to steal an objective enemy left undefended, meaning enemy might even leave more units backfield to prevent this, but thats a win win. Always use Redeploy when appropriate, with either Wardens or Sentinels, minimum 4" when Enlightnener is close, you don't want to engage uneccerly, you want to pin cuching all the enemy units prior to fights start, so you never get into "Fair" melee fights, preferbly enemy should already be around 60-50% of their troops per unit charging you left.
First combat with chosen: You absolutely should use All-out attack. Even for "defence" - you are striking first, so the more you kill with your first swing, the less damage you'll take on a hit back. Also, when you roll 1 on Eye of the gods, you can reroll
The Lumineth rule, that a second Unit can fight after another does not allow to switch between the different phases. But wenn both Units had strike first and the enemy would also have a strike first unit, you could attack with both before him.
1:01:44 Luca you couldve pulled Units so that the Demon Prince was Out of combat. Since He didnt charged He wouldnt be allowed to pile in while still having a second Fight that He couldnt use. Meaning 3 dudes would be alive. Just a cool Trick 👍🏻 Horses also only Hit on 6s vs Shining company
I really LOVE AoS battle reports, they are so refreshing, and the tables.... oh, man, you got yourself transported to this fantasy world
Nice to see the Realm-Lords out on the table again.

You can reroll any result on the EotG table
@@finaldey oh, true
Luka did you in turn one you casted rune of petrification and forget to actually place it?
Timelapse movement is very nice

Forgot to roll EotG for the Knights when they destroyed Light of Eltharion and the Ballista
Slaves list is very unsubtle, I love it!

you can re-roll the eye of the gods roll. people always seem to forget this.
The Altherion and Bladelords look like Drazzar and Incubi.
Chaos is good, but I still think losing our 5+mw ward was a bad decision.
I think for cease the Center you have to be a Bit Closer Luka its from the Center which is a Point and Not from the 40 mm objective 🤭
Luka playing not-death?!
He’ll be resurrecting D3 elves per turn out of force-of-habit 😂
Looking forward to watching 👍
seeing every other unit have crit mortals or good saves makes me cry. I play FEC and I don't see how I could deal with any of these armies.
Are those LRL helon - with the teal/turquoise/green? How did you paint them they look epic!
I'm new what do you have in slaves to darkness :) ?
Slaves get on EVERY UNIT with a unitkill the Eye of the God and you can REROLL it
Brett!
has Steve left? he always used to play Lumineth
Isn't the underdog allowed to pick a battle tactic on a double turn?
Only applies to Spearhead and needs to be 5 points behind
@@finaldey ahh okay thanks! I may need to revisit my recent victory then 😅
Bringin' Chaos back to the Mortal Realms in 4th ed! Great game gents.
This was slightly painful to watch. Definitely an interesting list, but I like my faction and to see the result of this battle was just... mm.
There's really no need to scream "bang" every time a die hits the table
Aos ain't got nothing on the old world
