Such an awesome vid Raches! That was my favourite part of Kyrgyzstan! Jeti Oguz and the hotsprings are just to die for ❤

Ahhh yeah these places are really incredible! Would have loved to have spent more time at Jet-Oguz, but soaked up all the time I could in the hotsprings! :)

I went to Kumrat Valley in Pakistan last spring and the rocky road I took to get there was more than two hours 😂

Tough place for people to live, in, not much vegetation in the country. Also urbanization is low so not easy to build an industry.
There is some potential, they can generate a lot more electricity with hydro, solar and wind but not much of that is done for now. Plenty of oil is imported though and they want to extract more coal.
Urbanization would likely be a sin but internet penetration is just at some 50%,, maybe cheaper satellite internet in the future will help - matters education wise and well beyond that.
Wondering what they do with manure, could be an underutilized resource there.
I suppose, in theory, vertical farming could be a thing if they develop electricity production to lower costs.
Hope they grow from an economic point of view while preserving the nature and traditions.
