I been using colored pencils for a decade, but want to try pastel pencils because it appears much quicker to do a larger drawing compared to colored pencil.
How much faster is Pastel Pencils colored to Colored Pencil work ?

I don't own any pan pastels! I do think they would work great as a base for this drawing, but I must say I prefer the control I have with the pencils:)
