I visit every medical channel ( most of'em are good enough), yet still i end up with Paul Bolin videos.
    They are precise and amazing!

I'm watching this because I decided to start trying for a baby in the following years. It's interesting how many complications can arise that are ultimately blamed on the medical team. I would hear people talk about umbilical cords wrapped around the neck of the baby as a most common thing and they would blame it on the doctor or midwife if there were any side effects from that. I don't think people are educated enough as to what can happen, umbilical cord prolapse isn't something anyone is thinking about and I would also assume that mothers experiencing complications do not, in the heat of the moment, understand what exactly is happening so if it results in permanent effects on the baby it's very easy to blame it on the doctors, if everything turns out fine despite the scare, nobody will remember that they did have a complication and what that complication may have resulted in were it not for the skilled hands at the end of the birth canal. Anyway, enjoying your pedagogical style, thanks!

did u mean to say in early deceleration, not late ?

he said variable deceleration, I was confused at first too. but in early deceleration yes it comes exactly with the time of the contraction but it is not as severe as this (here it goes till 30bpm which is so bad). and as he said in his video about fetal monitoring the decrease in early deceleration is so gradual that it is reassuring rather than non-reassuring.
