+The GKP Channel When I said "memories" I was talking about all the Uncharted. The first Uncharted came out in 2007, so it wasn't yesterday, as we say here. ^^'
This game is legitimately one of the best examples of how to get a story right without actually resorting to killing someone for pathos. I went into this totally expecting a major death. At the very least Sam, since he's a new character. Towards the end I was thinking it was at least going to be a downer ending, that they were foreshadowing Nate and Elena breaking up with story of how that old woman died alone and hated by her family despite being an explorer. Nope. Everyone gets out alive and lives happily ever after, and it's *still* one of the best and most emotional stories I've seen in a video game(maybe ever). The tension in those scenes towards the end was real, both in terms of action and emotionally, and the fact that a bit under half the game was set in Libertalia/New Devon let you really get absorbed into the more gruesome setting compared to previous entries. Such a great game.
I grew up with Uncharted...it's been over 7 years since I played Drake's Fortune for the first time. Words can't describe the impact this series has had on my life. Each game taught me unique lessons about loyalty, bravery, honesty, and adventure...can't thank naughty dog enough for this masterpiece of a series. Drake forever. The minute this intro started, I thought: "ready or not, one last time."
Uncharted 4: Best story and ost Uncharted 3: Had the best missions and multiplayer Uncharted 2: Had the best villain and locations Uncharted: Had the best feeling to play, nostalgic feeling
JP ALLFIRE.. Yeah she is what is the Release day again august 25th? I think....and if yoy want you can add me on ps4 I don't have any friends who play ps4 but it's fine if ya don't just asking
Man, this intro is just amazing, when it starts playing makes you think about the travels and adventures we had with this games, the search for el dorado, and to find out what it really was; maybe not dying in there was all because of "Drake's fortune", remembering that train to save Chloe, reminding us of the honor that exists "Among thieves", the sadness we felt when we thought Sully died, in the Iram of pillars, man, thinking about that makes me feel "Drake's deception" and finally, knowing that this is the beginning of the last story of our friend, the story that will tell us the end of an important character for some of us, the end of no ordinary person, but "A thief's end"
First game we are trying to find el dorado Second game we are trying to race a madman and his whole army to the steps of shambala Third game we are trying to find a lost city in the middle of the rubal khali desert Fourth game we are trying to find the lost treasure of Henry Avery
Crying isn't only about sadness mate one can cry thinking that this is the last Drake's adventure, especially the people who grew up playing uncharted games I know it doesn't seen, but it has been 9 years since Drake's fortune, many of us spent a big part of our lifes playing through drake's adventures
The main thing that I love about this intro is how it builds up the experience you’re about to witness, the finale that has been hyped for so many years. The way that this introduction uses moments from the past games is a great use of nostalgia and makes you feel like you’re about to go on an incredible journey. Thank you Naughty Dog.
Puts tears in my eyes. This was a big part of my childhood.. Like this put faith in me.. The third game was my fav.. But they all were so amazing! From markets in Peru to golden cities hidden in deserts..
Never played UC before til I got the PS4 bundle. This intro was so heartbreaking and beautifully done, I was instantly hooked. Now I'm going back to play the first three. But this game was really special, never got so emotionally into a game before ❤️👍🏼👍🏼
The intro was grown, like the games, from part to part. Now it's the real, a serious, a adult level. 😉 Like the development of Nate, Elena, Sully, Chloe, Charly, Nadine and Sam. Okay, maybe Sam need some more lessons too... 😎 kindly regards Eye
I have replayed all the Uncharted games like a thousand times because it literally is one of the best video games franchises ever made. Please make another Uncharted game. Even if it’s a spinoff game like Lost Legacy
Absolute masterpiece. The most amazing intro I have seen in a game. Feels like you are part of a movie. I wish they kept that tone for the Uncharted movie
+HIGHSCORE AAA you are gay me and him we love this game series they are fantastic games and to see parts of the previous games and to hear the music from all three parts again in this intro makes us cry. Get the fuck out of here you sucker
This intro was a little long, but I personally think it was a phenomenal way to start the game. Especially for the later reveal that Sam had actually survived! The fact that Nate had a brother all this time is a little strange to me, but it warms my heart to see even more family added to this series and I applaud it. If this ever happens to me and my sister, I'll do anything and everything I can to get back to her, even if we're seperated for more than 15 years. This opening truly is powerful and I think it makes the ending of this saga even better.
Here in 2024, gonna replay it soon because it was the first ps4 game I got and I haven’t even touched it in about 6 years after my first play through, the fact that I remember 90% of the game after that long just tells you how good it really is.
I think this intro alone perfectly captures the epitome of incredible video game development. Great cinematography, great writing & storytelling, great graphics, great animation, great drawing, great graphics & motion graphics, great editing, great sound design, great mixing, and outstanding musical composition!
The best feeling is when you played the games when they first came out and not like playing the games for the first time a month or 2 before this game.
The perfect intro for the perfect ending of a character's story... Sadly the end of Nathan Drake, but at least we know it's not the end of the franchise.
Anyone who has not played a single Uncharted game CAN NOT even begin to understand the feelings and emotions this opening commands. wonderful homage to all the struggle Drake has endured to get to the End.
Not better than The Last of US and probably not Uncharted 2 back then in its ps3 tech generation, but DAMN close. It is so hard to beat a classic. Looking forward to Last of Us Part 2
Damn..So much memories in this intro.
The game isnt that old but ok.

Still cant believe Overwatch won the game of the year.
It didn't. Uncharted did since it got the most GOTY awards including BAFTA, SXSW, Empire and New York Videogame awards.
Overwatch doesn't deserve it at all.
@@jasonback4837 No...it didn't man. Look it up.
@@caelroraback2213 OW only won vga goty, but not anything else.

When Naughty Dog can give you feels for a character's death scene even though you know they're alive, masterpiece!

Because you're not feeling sad about Sam's death. The lens of everything in Uncharted is Nate. You're feeling Sad for Nate, who believes he's dead.
I don’t think this comment aged well

Uncharted games are just like blockbuster movies.
I like the theme for the 4th game the most. Its more dark and serious
AC3Clan101 I compared it to GTA IV (darkish game of the franchise) and the better one at my view with the best history and better gameplay
