It depends on what you can afford and what you want. 8th gen is the cheapest option, and uses Apple Pencil 1. Air 4 is a bit more expensive, and uses the 2nd Gen Pencil. If you can afford it, I would go with the air 4. What are you trying to do with your iPad?

On the other hand, my other option would be iPad 8th generation 128 GB. 128 GB would be very useful to me. I'm a student. 128 GB would be more than enough for all my pdfs, notes, a hecka lot of pictures, and I would also download some other games and apps like Netflix. The current phone I'm using (main device) 's storage is already full too. So I would transfer all my main device's pics to my iPad too. It's a very hard decision.😭🥺🥺

Hello thank you so much! Actually it also depends on the particular app or game you would want, but since you will be doing quite a lot of activities in the iPad, I think it’s safer you get the 256. It’s still cheaper than the pro, and the air’s chip is already great enough for heavy games and video editing. But currently, I’m using this iPad air 64 for Procreate drawings, video editing (which I always clean the files after to avoid having the memory full), and playing Genshin Impact-this has high graphics. It still works great for me and everything runs smoothly, but maybe that’s because I don’t have other social media installed and I always clean the files. Soo if you think this would work with you, you can still get the 64 to save up for the accessories 😁 hope this helps!

Hi! To this day there are no scratches yet. I’ve read that paperlike screen protector causes the tip of the apple pencil to wear down faster than glass screen protector, but yes personally I still recommend paperlike if main use is drawing and writing 😊 others prefer glass tho since the matte finish reduces clarity of the screen, if main use is for watching and gaming 😊 so these are few pros and cons, hope it helped 💕

Yes you can! Drawing is especially easier. There are apps on Microsoft office for iPad, but the interface is a bit different. I also suggest you get the 256gb for bigger storage memory :)

I just got this iPad delivered to me on Tuesday and pencil ✏️ took a month to get to me. Although the case I got the same day. I got 256g because I have a lot of pics on here and apps. I also got cellular because I text people who do not have iPads and iPhones

Ohhh l’d actually be torn between a PC and an iPad because they’re for different functions, but I suggest go for a PC first! Its generally faster, cheaper, and lasts longer than a laptop, and you can manually choose its specs to your liking. iPad however, for school is good for instant note taking and drawings digitally, and you can take it wherever. But apple pencil is also sold separately so there’s an additional cost for that~

ikr there's no in between the 64 and 256, i would prefer the 128 too if it was available :< maybe enabling icloud would help with your storage? that or constant clean up of files, which i do with my photo/video library. i've never experienced any lag problems too tho so that's a positive note :)

Im getting an ipad air next year for my highschool! And im still earning one! 😚! Question.. if you reply? Im also a filipino. But my father has 3 choices- if the ipad air? Or a laptop? Or a pc? What should i get if you were me? 😊
Ohhh l’d actually be torn between a PC and an iPad because they’re for different functions, but I suggest go for a PC first! Its generally faster, cheaper, and lasts longer than a laptop, and you can manually choose its specs to your liking. iPad however, for school is good for instant note taking and drawings digitally, and you can take it wherever. But apple pencil is also sold separately so there’s an additional cost for that~

As I’m using it, the Air is quite sturdy! Tho I didn’t get to use the pro so I can’t really compare. But from what I read their body is quite similar 😊

I’m planning to buy this next month but I need everyone’s take if 64GB of storage is enough...I wish It has 128GB option tho bc 256gb is too costly 🧍🏽♀️ and I’m scared if 64GB would ran out fast on me
ikr there's no in between the 64 and 256, i would prefer the 128 too if it was available :< maybe enabling icloud would help with your storage? that or constant clean up of files, which i do with my photo/video library. i've never experienced any lag problems too tho so that's a positive note :)
