Its definitely a prequel that no one asked for but glad it's arrived. I had fun with this. A good 🎥 know one could have played Esther better then Isabelle Fuhrman!
The plot twist was everything! I was wondering how they were going to pull it off Really wanted the dad to find out his real daughter was killed by the son
I genuinely feel the same. The cinematography is also a campy vibe that I dig and didn’t expect. I feel like this one will be appreciated more much later in time, similar to the movie “X”
I saw this in the theater and the first half was definitely predictable and going exactly where I thought it was going. Then POW...that twist came out of nowhere and made the rest of the film very entertaining! =) That lady was a terrible person yet had NO idea who she was dealing with, but Esther also being like "What did I get myself into??" that we are rooting for her. Esther is Iconic!!! And you guys are so cute =)
This movie was awesome! Isabelle Furman was made for this role!! And I’m so impressed with all the practical effects they used to make her look younger
Only thing I say should've been better was the fact they didn't dive deeper into Esther's backstory as they should've. The family's secret should've been explored more too. Felt a lil rush at times.
I never understood the art therapist’s decision to go back in after seeing Esther… just to say the job isn’t for her. Screw that. 😂I would have seen Esther, acted like I saw nothing, drove far away & either called to say the job wasn’t for me or just not showed back up. 😂😂😂😂
This was so much fun! I definitely wasn’t expecting the twist. Have you guys watched The Novice? If you haven’t, you need to. Isabelle Furhman is incredible in it!!🙌
I love the twists in this!! When I first watched it I predicted what could be a cool ballsy reveal but assumed the movie wouldn't do it. So pleased it went that route!! Made me love Esther xD
I really enjoyed this movie. I saw it first on Paramount+ the day it came out and saw it in theaters the next day. I think it was the theater that we were in, but the movie was so dark and ruined the fun because we could barely see. It also could have been louder. I didn't have any issues watching it at home on my old ass TV. I watched it at my parents' place and didn't have an issue there either, so it must have been the theater. Other than that and the runtime, that's really my only complaint. If this movie gets enough traction (it's still pretty small at the moment), then they absolutely could do a third movie. Isabelle Fuhrman expressed interest in it. It would round out Leena's story. I would love to see more of her background and why she became the way she was. Hopefully the runtime on that would be more comparable with the first.
26:48 when she said clean up after my kids I was like did the son kill sometime then I said what if he killed the sister because seems like the daughter was the fathers favourite and he seems the jealous type even the mother 😂
Was not expecting to love this movie as much as I did and that twist was fudging bonkers! Obviously the age was a bit noticeable but because of the ride it wasn’t a huge deal. The actors were all amazing! Not gonna lie that the dad was very handsome. She got good taste lol
I didn't expect much, but the twist drew me in. I was slightly irked the movie looked such a flat, foggy or dark. It wasn't the best, but it was alright. I dont think I'd enjoy rewarching it like I did the original though. I would watch with someone who hasnt seem it for a popcorn fun flick basically.
Well we have to remember what they had her look like at the end of the first one they aged her soooo dramatically that I feel like her looking a bit older on this movie makes sense cause her body is small but she is still 30 years old …and in the orginal movie she didn’t look 33 at the end they went overboard she looked old as hell soo I feel like it worked pretty well
At the beginning, when that art instructor quit, I was instantly like "no, girl, are you stupid? now no one will wonder where you are if you dont show up!"
The plot twist was amazing, it really makes you think who is more psychopathic, and Tricia and Gunnar’s behavior around Esther make so much more sense now, they are thinking “who the hell is this person?”
Just recently found your channel watched all Stranger Things reactions because it was amazing, the show and of course you guys!!! I'm all about the horror can't wait!
You guys definitely made my day and going into my birthday tomorrow excellent with the podcast while I was at work and now to come home and see the reaction is up I'm super psyched you guys always have great reactions and I agree rats can be cute cuz I have one for a pet lol love you guys
Yea I hadn’t thought about the accent. I assumed because she was so young she would adapt to her new surroundings. But.. people in Russia would be moreso speaking Russian. Unless she was just around enough people that spoke English with a Russian accent.
The dectective was an idiot. If he wanted to take pictures of esther, he couldve hide behind some bushes or be in his tilted window car( if he had one) and take the pictures. And he went inside their house without a warrent to steal esthers record.
40:22 and you would be right. I think the movie retcons quite a bit and would've worked better if this wasn't the family she lived with before ending up with Vera Farmiga and her crap for brains husband.
it wasnt a first kill but if we get a third we need to see her before the asylum her own family maybe even her first love or if the men that were into her were weirdos like its a campy franchise
Let me tell you...when the scene where the mommy kills the officer came on, the entire packed wall-to-wall theater collectively gasped in shock.
Yeah so did I. I did not expect this twist
Its definitely a prequel that no one asked for but glad it's arrived. I had fun with this. A good 🎥 know one could have played Esther better then Isabelle Fuhrman!
Actually: A LOT of people asked for a Orphan prequel, cause they wanted to know the origin-story of her.
The plot twist was everything! I was wondering how they were going to pull it off
Really wanted the dad to find out his real daughter was killed by the son
Yeah I get that, but in a way it makes it more tragic that he dies clueless to everything
i did too.
I feel like it would have been kinder if he died without learning anything. Ignorance is bliss.
Because the actress is older now she gets to act in more gory fight and stuff. Which I love.
So glad they didn't drop the ball from 1st being a classic to this even better like never thought id say that👏👏👏
I genuinely feel the same. The cinematography is also a campy vibe that I dig and didn’t expect. I feel like this one will be appreciated more much later in time, similar to the movie “X”
the plot twist, GAGGED! Loved it so much!
So fun how they Had us rooting for Fake Esther and making it different/ cat and mouse chess game😭😭

32:20 she doing what she’s doing to piss the mother off because now he’s happy and back to himself because of Esther and not her 😂😂
Only thing I say should've been better was the fact they didn't dive deeper into Esther's backstory as they should've. The family's secret should've been explored more too. Felt a lil rush at times.
I agree and I also wanted to know the dectectives theory
I never understood the art therapist’s decision to go back in after seeing Esther… just to say the job isn’t for her. Screw that. 😂I would have seen Esther, acted like I saw nothing, drove far away & either called to say the job wasn’t for me or just not showed back up. 😂😂😂😂
I didn’t catch this on first watch- but when she leaves her cell she made her straight jacket into a backpack. How creative 😅
The movie was definitely better than I expected. You guys' reaction made my day.
This was so much fun! I definitely wasn’t expecting the twist. Have you guys watched The Novice? If you haven’t, you need to. Isabelle Furhman is incredible in it!!🙌
Same! That twist took us on a RIDE! We haven’t actually, we definitely want to see her in more stuff. Thank you so much for watching :)
@@thehorrorbandwagon 👍❤️
33:30 Esther like you trying the wrong person 😂😂
I love the twists in this!! When I first watched it I predicted what could be a cool ballsy reveal but assumed the movie wouldn't do it. So pleased it went that route!! Made me love Esther xD
The Asian detective tho.... Gurl I'd let him do anything he wants.

Julia Stiles was my favorite part of this movie. So good.
26:48 when she said clean up after my kids I was like did the son kill sometime then I said what if he killed the sister because seems like the daughter was the fathers favourite and he seems the jealous type even the mother 😂
The twisttt is 😳
34:50 Esther wants to kill the brother and mother and they wanna kill Esther 😂😂😂
Was not expecting to love this movie as much as I did and that twist was fudging bonkers! Obviously the age was a bit noticeable but because of the ride it wasn’t a huge deal. The actors were all amazing!
Not gonna lie that the dad was very handsome. She got good taste lol
Weird how they’d do a prequel so many years later, when she’s clearly much older but supposed to at least _look_ the same age
16:04 everyone who watches this movie in the room with her knowing who she is 😂😂😂
Yes! 😂😂😂
@@thehorrorbandwagon then it’s the shit is she still looking can I look back and act like I wasn’t looking at her
37:42 this probably parallels what happen with the real sister him being like this with her and and died
She avenged the real Esters memory.
I love her pig tails.
This absolutely made me think of the Imposter during the reunion scene!!!
Yesss! Right?! Glad someone else did too!
I didn't expect much, but the twist drew me in. I was slightly irked the movie looked such a flat, foggy or dark. It wasn't the best, but it was alright. 35:24 it’s like I bet you don’t like it when men call you sweetie 😂😂
At the beginning, when that art instructor quit, I was instantly like "no, girl, are you stupid? now no one will wonder where you are if you dont show up!"
"I ain't mathing today." -Sergio
That's me everyday. 🧮
😂😂😂
I laughed so hard at the twist reveal and may have yelled fck you at the tv!!!
42:00 I was like why do this so hard like wtf 😂😂😂 now you signed your death 😂
I just watched it last night and it was amazing!
This movie caught us by surprise & were so here for it! 👏🧡
Now we know how Ester got started
I loved this movie. So good.
The plot twist was amazing, it really makes you think who is more psychopathic, and Tricia and Gunnar’s behavior around Esther make so much more sense now, they are thinking “who the hell is this person?”
Not gonna lie Esther is
so PRETTY💎💎💎

She's so Beautiful !!😍😍😍
They are going to be put in a straight jacket
You two are the best duo for reactions, ive loved every single video ive seen so far ❤❤❤❤
Not going to lie guys, I love this movie better than the first... SORRY Y'ALL WHO ADORE THE ORIGINAL.
It's more of a fun popcorn movie.
Yea I hadn’t thought about the accent. I assumed because she was so young she would adapt to her new surroundings. But.. people in Russia would be moreso speaking Russian. Unless she was just around enough people that spoke English with a Russian accent.
There’s the Esther alarm 🚨
Love y’all so much 💙. Enjoyed the vid. 🫶🏾
Love you two and your reactions.
Another one bites the dust with Esther
I remember Julia Stiles from the Damien movie
The Omen
I hate the brother and I kinda don't like the mom either. I cheer for Esther more in this movie😂😂
😂😂😂 Honeslty, same like get them Esther!
Don’t mess with Esther
I loved this movie so much. I would definitely recommend it to people.
Oh hey I have the same knives the detective stabbed into his cutting board it's the benchmade fact.
I loved the reactions of the guy in the black t-shirt
We need a Esther alarm 🚨 for her
She is a Maniac
You’re going to love this song after this movie.
The dectective was an idiot. If he wanted to take pictures of esther, he couldve hide behind some bushes or be in his tilted window car( if he had one) and take the pictures. And he went inside their house without a warrent to steal esthers record.
I'm a simple man
You mention Lana Del Rey, you earn a sub
Esther
Bruhhh i was GAGGED!!!!!!
she had that patient trained like a dog. idk if she is strong enough to kill the first guy like she did but still a good movie.
We didn’t start the fire 🔥
The mothers always knew about Esther
39:00 the karma 😍
is it just me seeing things but did esther make a back-pack out of her straight jacket
The beret
Great movie!!!!!!!
25:28 that’s what I was saying what if it’s one of the parents and ofc it’s not a match
Hey, have either of you seen
The Turning
I love you both 💕 you make my day
julia styles in great in the film O
Esther looked so much older than the first movie.
yeah the actress grew up! imagine that.
Hi guys. Can you also please react to Inside (2007) french verison. Tia.
We have heard so many things about this movie! We will add to the list but also nervous 😂😂
@@thehorrorbandwagon hahaha TIA. Anyway, just finished watching your reaction for Evil Dead, just a suggestion is Night of the Demons 2009 remake.
My son and I thought about there being a trust but she would have had to wait the years out until 18. Her didn’t make it lol
She doesn’t hold back
Is it the Rat?
Already?
She’s not 9 years old.she is 33.
This movie is so messy (and a little comedic) but I am here for it
PREDATOR v ORPHAN
Honestly, so down to see that!!
I think we know where Gunner could've been on January 6th...👀☕
34:21 tbh I think she just wanted the father and take the mother and son out tbh
40:22 and you would be right. I think the movie retcons quite a bit and would've worked better if this wasn't the family she lived with before ending up with Vera Farmiga and her crap for brains husband.

i must be the only one that laughed at you're a monster lol.
Is this a Bible?
There’s probably not gonna be a next movie where she’s older cause she wouldn’t grow, and she dead from the first movie
The original was better
Mom is arguably the worst character
Thanks for the movie suggestion. Will check the Impostor. 🫶
Of course!! Let us know what you think!
@@thehorrorbandwagon well it’s great. A bit similar to Orphan first kill but no proof. Hehe
