- I rode along with Rescue 35 at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport where I got a brief tour of the airport grounds and a demonstration of the apparatus capabilities. Rescue 35 is an Oshkosh Striker 6x6 with a 50' Snozzle.
We need more ride along videos!!!
Love the videos. Looking forward to more to come!
I love Oshkosh airport rigs. the nearby Intl airport is getting a new Oshkosh crash truck. it's a 3,000 gallon unit with 1200 gallons of Purple K since most of the aircraft are large cargo aircraft.
Worked at the amazon across the airfield these guys sat in our boneyard watching our airplanes depart. It made all the pilots nervous 🤣
Awesome video Eric! ARFF trucks are sweeet. Got friends who are fire fighters for the city and the airport where I live. Not sure how you pick these ride alongs but DFW Airport Fire Department has a huge mixture of ARFF and structure trucks plus ambulances in about 6 stations across the airport from what I've heard since it's basically a city within a city. Not sure how possible it would be but DFW Airport Fire Department would be interesting to check out.
@bigjorl3599 He gets invited! That’s the only way.
Never seen the inside of or operation of an ARFF truck. Thank you for sharing!
Nice video, I was a reserve FF in Concord, NC 20 years ago and remember station 6 at the airport where a lot of the race teams were based out of. Good stuff.
Thank you . This episode was really interesting for me, since I've never known how the ARFF trucks work.
Excellent review of Fort Worth Rescue 35 and it's capabilities. So much high tech available and in this case, I think that this is great to have this available.
Great video! I work next to the airport and love the plane watching. Also love to see all the race teams in town
I hope since you're filming in Fort Worth you got a chance to se DFW's training center as well. It's quite a setup over there. Thanks for all your awesome videos Eric!
Oshkosh ARFFs are badass fire trucks, hands down.
What an amazing piece of apparatus! Great videos your bringing us! Hope to see more North Texas videos in the future! Stay safe!

He got Joe Gibbs Racing's airplanes wrong. those are Mitsubishi CRJ-702s
You should do Washington D.C. or Baltimore.
Sky-view map you cut-away-to would have been a bit more helpful with runway/taxiway labels and a "we are here now" marker with a truck icon facing the appropriate location.
Yees ty for doing my city.
Do a Tulsa FD
Great content… then bang nothing for 5 months😭
8 months now 🥲

@@strange_panda03 9
You should see the desoto tx fire department
What was the volunteer military training thing he mentioned?
No content for 9 months? Fire community is waiting in anticipation..😢
What happened to the content and do you know why the quality of videos for south metro have gone down quite a bit?
Those JGR jets aren't Gulfstreams, they are CRJ-700s.
I am a texas boy i live in Texas 😊
The Gibbs planes are CRJs, not Gulfstreams
Try the one at meacham airport
They don’t run much lol, Station 44 I would say is probably the slowest staffed station in the city.
Same rig at the Buffalo Airport by looks of it
Hey Eric it would be awesome if you come and do something here in Detroit I'd like to see the fire department
8 months and no content 😭
