    Hi peeps, how are you doing?
    I am sorry if the video seems really foggy and keep wiggle around (I have the most unstable hand ever😥). If you put the Quality on 720P than it will be more clear! What's your thought after this video? Dorm or Appartment?
    And for everyone who pass by, I wish you much Luck on your exchange adventure and have a bless time in Korea!

      Hello dear, first of all thank you for clicking on my video. It's a pity that you missed the chance, but i am sure there will be a better chance in the future! and for the tuition fee/moneywise: I went as an exchange student, so i dont have to pay Konkuk but just my normal tuition fee to my uni back at home. But you can find information on Konkuk website, it varies per department between 4500K~6000K won ( info from Konkuk website).

    Great video! It's really informative! I have a small question, what are the lengths of the beds? I'm thinking about Studying at Konkuk but i'm a 6 feet long girl and thinking the dorms beds are to small for me. also there is nothing wrong with the unstable camera, everything is clear enough to watch :D keep up the great work!

      Thank you so much for the encouraging words!! It means a lot to me. The bed is 0.9x2m long (typical one person bed). So i think you would be fine with it, No worries ;) I wish much luck and fun at Konkuk! ❤️

    • @oranju8786
      @oranju8786  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello dear, thank you for watching! Yes, we have to be in our room before 1:00 AM. if you scan your card before 1 AM you will get -1 point. if students have more than -5 point, they won't able to apply for the dorm in the next semester. After 1AM the doors are still open, so you are still allow to get in ;).

    Thank you for the helpful video! It was really usefull. I am planning to follow a fall semester this year. I have a few questions that I couldn't find online:
    1. What do you know about single dorms? Is it possible to get a single room instead of a double? I saw pictures on the website but I couldn't find much information about them
    2. Is it possible to choose a roommate? I am planning to go with a friend
    3. Is the cafeteria mealplan included in the dorm price? If not, how much is it?
    4. Is it hard to get a dorm? Are alot of students interested in them?
    Me and my friend are still debating whether we're getting an appartement or stay in dorms.

    • @oranju8786
      @oranju8786  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      hey Jesse, I am glad that my video was helpful.
      1. I have never seen it personally nor hear much about, I think is really rare and expensive.
      2. No, they don't allow people choose their roommate to avoid double works. but most of the time they keep the people with the same nationally together. and you can always discuss it with your future roommate for change if things don't go well (I personally suggest you to have a non-friend roommate, you will get to know more people and make more friends).
      3.No it's not included. Unfortunately I don't remember the price, but the price is definitely reasonable per/meal. You can always take a look after you arrive! or try it out, they have individual meal tickets too.
      4. international students is prior for the dorm. so don't worry, but do apply and paid on time.
      Dorm is a nice and a different experience from the western Culture. the good side of dorm is that it's in the campus and near by the campus, has everything you need.
      On the other hand, if you like to go out late night and want to stay with your friends or having friends to stay over, maybe an apartment would be nice.
      If you have any more question feel free to ask, I hope you and your friend will have a pleasant time there 💖.

      Hi!~ I think one person room is really rare. All of the exchange students get two person room. with Random assigning, I think they mean roommates. at least that's how I read it on paper back then. But most of the time, EU Students stay with EU students. Asian students stay with asian students.

      After 1 AM if you don't scan your card again(going in), the point will automatically decrease by one . The door is still open, so It's up to you to stay till the morning and wait for the earliest subway or hop on a taxi and go back to the dorm at midnight. Both are some nice experience to try when you are in Seoul🤣.
