Kasli the Bane is a very powerful unit when it comes to stats. The combination of high health and 5 knockbacks leads to her staying alive for a long time when summoned. Thanks to the powerful Surge, she is also able to deliver high and consistent damage to midrangers and backliners, such as Le'noir and R.Ost, while also intercepting incoming peons and keeping enemies that are extremely easy to knockback at bay, such as Gory variants, Brollow, Rain D. and Mr. Puffington. Lastly, she can even be used for "base trapping": if you have her hit a base and trigger a boss wave, her Surge will instantly hit and severely cripple anything that comes out, sometimes making a massive difference. Just remember that due to her blindspot and most of her damage being concentrated in the surge, she will not perform too well against Zombies, short ranged pushers like Bore or One Horn, as well as surge-immune enemies. However, a tanky unit can cover her blind spot, making her usage even more viable. Damage isn't all she has though: her Curse ability lets her disable enemies' Knockback, Slow, Freeze, Weaken, Warp, Curse, Dodge Attack and Toxic abilities. Since it has good uptime, this makes her even more useful against enemies with annoying abilities like Super Metal Hippoe, Li'l Doge, Crazed Axe Cat, Henry, Winged Pigge, Gobble, Heavenly Herald Papuu, Bakoo and all Relics. There are, however, rare instances in which her Curse ability can be counterproductive, such as against some units with Warp, who would become unable to warp any attackers they reach to safety. This is most notable against Final Boss Giga God. Her immunities to Wave Attacks, Warp, Curse, Weaken and Surges further help her with the threat posed by such abilities, especially in Uncanny Legends, Cats of the Cosmos and The Aku Realms where they are prominently active. Overall, she's an extremely powerful unit that holds her edge all the way into the endgame and has almost no drawbacks.

Battle Cats is an original and interesting spin on the Tower Defense genre, though even calling it a td game is patronizing to the uniqueness of this game. The basic concept of this game is simple, you spawn cats to beat enemies and destroy the enemy tower, progressing through stages, campaigns, and events. I'm gonna try to explain most of the major pros and cons of this beloved mobile game, before rebutting some of the common critiques of this game. To start off, there is an insane amount of content. If you want a good comparison on a typical full run from start to finish (stories of legends to zero legends), it'd be like maxing out a terraria world, or having speedrunners beat Minecraft 2,800 times in a row. There are main story campaigns, those being Empire of Cats, Into the Future, and Cats of the Cosmos. Each of these campaigns contain 3 chapters of varying difficulty, and each chapter contains 48 different stages. Then there's the legend stages, which have even MORE stages. Stories of Legends, Uncanny Legends, and the recent Zero Legends have all made battle cats a game that never really ends when it comes to content. I'm not even mentioning all the collaborations (street fighter, evangelion, madoka, etc), advent stages, labyrinth, heavenly & infernal towers, legend quest, monthly gauntlets and barons to complete! Then there's the topic of the cats themselves. The sheer quantity of usable cats in this game is simply ludicrous. There are around 700 cats as of current 13.6 EN version, and each of them have their separate niches & uses. You will find great diversity in each load out, especially in early to late game. One thing to note, however, is that most units are locked behind gacha (japanese 'lottery' system) pools, where you will need to spend either rare tickets (or platinum/legend), or the in-game currency, cat food. This does mean that you will have to save up to get these units, but that is absolutely by choice of the game, as it keeps the gameplay loop fresh and exciting. You never know what new unit you'll get to use to beat the next hardest stage. Even with all that said, Battle Cats is still a flawed game. There are many unresolved issues that plague the game, the first of which being the save system. Whenever you lose an account, whether that be by losing your phone or deleting the app, you have to go through a long and tedious process to recover your account. The system is very dated, requiring you to save an inquiry code, email the ponos team, give them key information about your account, then gain the transfer ID, before finally being able to recover your account on a new phone. As someone who's lost two accounts and has had to use the inquiry code several times, its a fatal flaw in the game. There's also the early game, which starts off being tedious and lackluster compared to the rest of the game. The game tries to teach the player how to grind stages with the use of Treasures, but it only makes most players quit before they make it past chapter 3 moon of EoC. Lastly, there are big difficulty spikes throughout the game, and some of the early ones are key factors into why players end up leaving the game. These include (but are not limited to): Ch3 EoC Moon, Ururun, Crazed cat, Wanwan, and Ch1 ItF The Great Abyss. Aside from these three flaws, however, Battle Cats brings itself to be a candidate for one of the best mobile games in 2024. Now that we've gone through all the nitty gritty info on the game, why don't we deconstruct some of the critiques on this game, shall we? First, being pay-to-win. Nope, not at all. There are plenty of ways to get cat food, rare tickets, and even platinum tickets. You can get 30 cat food per sub-chapter (about 6 stages), you can get rare tickets from normal ticket grinding and event stages, and platinum tickets are available via platinum shards and anniversary events. Saying that Battle Cats is P2W when paying for cat food is incredibly overpriced is absolutely astounding, especially when there's other games (*cough* CoC *cough*) which are wayy more P2W. Then there's the game being too difficult. While I understand that it is an issue with the early game design, battle cats is NOT a hard game. If you're struggling on a stage, go grind for higher normal cat levels, upgrade rare and super rares, and maybe unlock a new Uber to carry you through the stage. It's when players do not look for any other ways to beat a stage that a stage becomes hard/impossible. Lastly, the gacha system. It's core to the game, so if you don't like it, uhh, I guess its not a game for you. But you have plenty of ways to roll for free and get the best Ubers (as I have for 4+ years), so it should never become an issue.

Like, really, in this meta, metals do NOT need more powercreep. They’re already dead like red (hey, that rhymed), what’s next, anti metal courier and metal behemoth enemies? (Please no)
Why is alien so powercrept they had to add an OP brutal advent boss so it isn’t as powercrept as relic? (Name me one relic enemy who appears a lot and doesn’t get beat to death by UL legend TF’s, cone, Esoteric Uril or royal guard, I’ll wait)
Bazibastra is great against ITF-COTC, also most pure alien stages will die to him in SOL - mid UL, however starred UL aliens could prove an issue to him. Second best pixie that ain’t a legend rare (behind Gravolodon, since he adapted to the meta 🤑 ), I know nothing about WGK, but I know she’s unstable as hell and could be good.
Combo slave. Besides that, I actually found him to be an amazing anti zombie with all of his abilities in TF. He's not as good as an anti Relic, though.
Summoners are units that have the “Conjure” ability. (Ex: Dynasaur, Gunduros, Izanagi.. ect.). These units can only be sent one at a time, until they die, so they can’t be stacked. When you tap on their icon, a spirit will be summoned, that’ll hit ahead of the summoner. It’s immune to everything including boss wave, and 100 percent dodge also. It deals status effects to all enemies it hits, however when the spirit is used, it vanishes after attacking. The unit then can’t be deployed until it dies, then it can be deployed again.
I find it ironic how the ability is called "Metal _Killer_ " yet Cat Units with that ability will (almost) *NEVER* kill a Metal Enemy, only crippling them for other critters to finish them off.

P icon indicates ultra talents. It’s the placement the uber will get with it’s ultra talent buffs.
@@XskullDrSkull Thank you !
@@XskullDrSkullhow come akira has moved up in your ranking so much?
So, Is It worth trying to gacha him if I already have ultra kaguya or I'm just wasting my money?
17:41 , why is catman so low, i thought he was one of (if not ) the best of this set :(
He isn’t low, it’s just the others got insanely broken
I mean, top 6 is still pretty good for no ultratalents. (Hey, it can be top 4 if you don’t count ultra talents!)
He's the kinda cat I wished I had during early parts of the game. Great, but not game breaking.
Like, really, in this meta, metals do NOT need more powercreep. They’re already dead like red (hey, that rhymed), what’s next, anti metal courier and metal behemoth enemies? (Please no)
@averageidiot1612 they're not THAT powercrept, with good stage design, they could cause a big threat. Like catasaurus + researcher isn't that much.
yo-yo gang rise up
bidgert guilt of gear refrence ?!
Me when new anti ali- mimimimimi 🛏️🛌
Why is alien so powercrept they had to add an OP brutal advent boss so it isn’t as powercrept as relic? (Name me one relic enemy who appears a lot and doesn’t get beat to death by UL legend TF’s, cone, Esoteric Uril or royal guard, I’ll wait)
Day 16 of reminding bro that he forgot to review Ruri ultra talents
"me seeing slow and knockback on aliens on first form"
me: yup mizli syndrome
What is up with multi hits. Like it’s horrible.
Honestly not being stackable is kinda a huge downside for this guy imo
I mean, the spirit is cool but still. Stacking this guy would be epic.
looks like a sternritter
Why are you starting to compare some stats at level 60 instead of 50?
Most likely because it is the new max
@@sniceturtl2937yeah but 15 dark eyes are expensive
@@wilh3lmmusic It is also because some cat units are heavily effected by it. Not like anybody is going to do it lol
@@sniceturtl2937 its been the max since level 60 came out and xskull didn't say their level 60 stats
Hey anyone know how to do the legend stage utopia is over there
Cooked with this one
God tier design
I just drew gacha and got winter general kaihime and Bazibastra
So Xskull what do you think of the units I got
Bazibastra is great against ITF-COTC, also most pure alien stages will die to him in SOL - mid UL, however starred UL aliens could prove an issue to him. Second best pixie that ain’t a legend rare (behind Gravolodon, since he adapted to the meta 🤑 ), I know nothing about WGK, but I know she’s unstable as hell and could be good.
What is the point of metal killer if it can't kill?
Reduces tougher metals to easy crits
@@XskullDrSkull Ok, because after hearing it was like waterblast I thought it had nearly no usage.
I got membership back 🎉
Good just released
But now its time to Nerf Papaluga
No, Papaluga ultraform that adds nothing. For the small cost of 30 epic gems. (300 epic stones, should be ez to get)
Got the white rabbit in my draw 😭 WHY!!!
Moosyash Scafander mode.
Poor mans emperor
can someone explain to me why Vigler is in S tier? I’m confused whether it’s because of Cheating Heart or if he’s actually good
Combo
Mostly because of the combo, but he's a decent anti-zombie and anti-relic as well.
Combo slave. Besides that, I actually found him to be an amazing anti zombie with all of his abilities in TF. He's not as good as an anti Relic, though.
All cat please
Bruh got him in my 18th account
Dirty axel is black???
RACISM!
I just rolled him
Brave test 18
Mid, outclassed by Mech Patrol Axel
hayabusa no crit
How do summoners work
Summoners are units that have the “Conjure” ability.
