This is such an outstanding message and so important to understand. Together with last weeks chart lesson on Romans and this lesson on what is the gospel, these lessons are worth more than gold bars!

Lots of error preached indeed. Apostle Paul writes 1Cor without the resurrection they preach in vain.

Excellent. Especially the part where Justin talks about to not pay attention to just names, but the message itself! Otherwise you can create an unnecessary and unfortunate mess, and will start to be deceive by your carnal sinful mind... We need to have the right balance between names/words and message/context.

Awesome message. Thank you. I came from a Baptist background. They taught one gospel message throughout the scriptures and that everyone was saved by believing that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, even those in the OT. But you made it obvious that not only did the OT believers NOT believe in the cross to be saved but that the 11 didn't even believe Christ rose from the dead after it happened. Wow, that's an eye opener if you are a bible believer.

Amen!!! In a men's group I put forward that what we should do is each memorize three gospel presentations (1 min, 5 min, 10 min). Very helpful to get it back into your marrow.

I wish I was more focused so I could get more out of this but Justin is on a much higher level than me and I'm OK with that I still watch his videos and always gain knowledge
As for most of us.

When I first started listening to Justin it was a little difficult because of how fast he talks.
I then started breaking up his teachings into 2 to 3 part sections. Watching and listening for 20 to 30 minutes at a time.
It seemed to help. Maybe this will help you.
You can get something out of each teaching. It doesn't have to be a complete absorption.
We're all learning :) Justin can be slowed down in the "settings" section.
Back up the sections watch twice. I do🥰

In order to arrive at works based salvation, one must completely ignore HUGE swaths of the New Testament. People like us can appreciate the entire Bible for what it is..... some of it isn't talking to us. It was written for us, but not TO us.

Why does it say these things were hid from them, if jesus death was according to the scriptures? if it was in the scriptures that jesus would be handed over to the gentiles, then how could it have been hidden from them?
They didn’t know the scriptures, and God did not open their understanding yet. That is why after His resurrection He teaches them all things written about him in the prophets and the Law.

He mentioned the gospel several times and deleted the fact that the Lord was buried over 10 times! I got tired of counting! He's not making errors. He's purposely perverting the gospel message! This so called grace preacher is a false teacher! The apostle Paul did preach 2 different gospels! He preached to the little flock when he first got saved before he received the gospel of our salvation for the body of Christ!

Peter did not preach grace! He preached grace plus works:

I don't believe you have a grasp on God's grace. It's God's grace that allows anyone to be saved, at every time in history. Christ dying on the cross and shedding His blood was proof of His grace.

Meaning God does not require anything more from us to be saved than we just believe the gospel! No works at all! No keeping of the law. No circumcision. Christ dying on the cross and shedding His blood is not proof of God's grace! God allowing us to be saved by simply believing that gospel is proof of God's grace! Apparently you don't have a grasp on the grace of God!

These Jews much like you didn't grasp the grace of God! They wanted the Gentiles to get circumcised and keep the law of Moses! Peter corrected them! He grasped the grace of God!
