My theory is that the neighbor that doesn’t like MWM’s cars snitched on him to the HOA , the city, or something like that. So now MWM is selling the house and moving to the country. I wish MWM the best and hope he is back in full force soon.

They will say he is running a car business....rather than a hobby. Probably why he has 'mostly' sold the fleet. Hopefully Milly and Janis are still safe in his garage. What a pain if he has to relocate.....

I'm just learning about your resentful neighbor(s) from a few in this comment section. That's straight up elementary school playground bs (on their part, obviously). I'm blessed with amazing neighbors all around me, & am very sorry for anyone who actually has to have animosity over something petty that has little to no effect over their own well being just because their life & soul is empty. I'm also sorry for the good guys like you that have to deal with it. It probably didn't help when he drove up the road seated on a bucket (or was it a dinoing chair)....a classic MWM moment but red reg to a nosey neighbour with an internet connection. Hopefully he can work it out because I think he likes Tulsa & his neighbourhood....but to be honest he could go anywhere.

I wonder why Mercedes decided to leave a critical part that one would think should not be left exposed out in the open where water can get at it. I wonder why they did not stick it in the tank like most car makers did and still do for fuel injected vehicles. The only thing i can think of close to this is some older Volvos. But they have 2 pumps. One in the tank and one outside the tank. As a Volvo 240 owner, i was taught to keep at least 2 fuel pump relays in the glove box at all time just in case one goes as they give no heads up.
What are the chances two cars after yours was built they started putting the new wiring into the cars? That would certainly be my luck. They say after VIN# such and such they installed a corrected part to solve the problem and I go out and check my VIN# and there you are. Wonderful to hear things are getting better in your life. Used in my 2017 Stang gone next day have not come back since.Also when i lived in Orange N.S.W. when they exported fridges to china huh! They would use white power cables to stop them being chewed. Mate keep the faith yep in Italy but will be back in Straya soon...well. Great hints this time round!

Howdy Howdy buddy 😎My advice to you on diagnosing a Mercedes that doesn't start is as, 1. Insert key in ignition! 2.Turn key to on position ! 3.Crank if nothing happens it means car won't start 😒. 4.Small fee may apply to this diagnosis ($475.00 )

I saw that on a 1999 as well. must be something that MB missed when they changed the harness. I just taped up the degraded parts and all good. your Climate control system needs that air temp sensor to work optimally.
Mike...We have parted ways! The W140 is my least favorite of all MB ever built. I never liked the boxy styling! It is absolutely stupid for the climate control to control the starting! That has no logic! Still admire YOU, BUT not a 140! Good you are back! Richard

hi, i had a w210 that would not start, on the dash was ABS,BAS ,PAS. turn out to be a 10A fuse in the over volt protector. the w211 no start and the glovebox light is not working its a 7 1/2 fuse
Good vid, but my issue is way worse. My SLK ECU burnt. I just wish I could get honest straight answers from people about it. I got a replacement and had it unlocked, but now I need to figure out what to do next. I have no way to write/program it and with the old one burnt they cannot clone it. Not sure if this is now a dealer issue to program the ECU. UUUGGGGGHHHHHH!
I hope I'm not the only one who is confused...... with 7 cars now missing - I'm completely lost to come up with a question you could answer? This happened to a dear friend of mine - he went missing for about a week - when he returned he wasn't the same person, a clone in fact - he said, he had an alien intervention which he then said turned out to be a mind stroke! - Something politicians get when they're caught in a lie. So we thought we should keep an eye over his wellbeing..... After about a week he went missing again, we thought the worsted and went out looking for him. We found his car parked a few streets away....So we staked out the car and waited to see if he would return......He did with a woman half his age (mid 40's) - they kissed, hugged and after some time, he drove away as she returned to a house down the street.... We figured "German cars from the past are one thing, but a leggy blonde with a cat is on a whole different level !

i loved my w140. its a shame i had to get rid of it. my current project is a 96LS400 lexus im tinkering with. not a big project just something to do.

The destroyed harness, won’t the exposed wires arch, even if unplugged?
Those wires go to the temperature unit, not to the fuse box

For a 1997 that car is in great condition. With time rubber goes bad, anything made of rubber will need to be replaced at some point.

Very few actually had bullet proof windows. There are two panes of glass to keep the interior very quiet.
