    hi
    ADSK must update their documentaion,
adding Normal & Albedo Aovs that was an old workflow when they introduce noice for the first time!
theses 02 aovs (Normal & Albedo) was remplaced by a cingle check box: "Output Denoising AOVS"
So you do not need to add any aov for denoising.
Only check Output Denoising AOVS in Arnold Render Setting, that's all!
you can view N_noice and denoise_albedo_noice in Nuke for example
    Hope this help!

Thank you, nice to get some info on your decision making process, that is so often missing in those tutorials where they don't talk about WHY
I was shocked to hear how long this takes per frame!
For now I'm using GPU renderer + OPTIX imager, and then 'remove grain' filter in after effects, its not perfect, but what I've realised is for the CGI product marketing videos that I make, they go online and get heavy H264 or similar compression, which looks like the OPTIX compression anyway! so there is no point striving for a super high quality master file
well, gonna try this and see how it goes!! thank you
