Another great explore! The retro room with the pine wainscoting, fireplace, textured walls, was my favorite part of the house! I also love the blue tiles on that one bathroom. That was cool. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and happy new year to you!

A great look at a beautiful 1980s home! I liked the old boat stashed behind the garage...very cool. The wainscotting throughout the home exudes charm and class. My favorite room was definitely the one in the basement with the knotty pine wainscotting and the beautiful fireplace. I'm so glad that it was left basically untouched! A real time capsule. Great explore, I was trying to envision which room would have been what but gave up while enjoying the tour😊 I'm sure that stairway was the highpoint of the home, prior to that partial wall being placed in front of it. The bathroom upstairs with the cloud in the tub has me scratching my head 😂 All in all, a great find! Missed that live chat tho.. darnit! Nice house if it wasn't messed up with all that spa rubbish, liked the basement but did not see the boiler or electrics. don't like separate garages. glad the upstairs was not messed up too much.
hey Matt!! It was definitely a super nice house at one point, but yes that spa stuff did take away from it a little, especially in that living room with the fireplace. The basement was very nice, and yeah, now you mention that, I don't remember seeing them either.. They must have been hidden somewhere. Hmmm. I'm surprised at that lol... It's funny, even though they worked around the existing home to make it a business it was still hard to get a picture in my mind of what it was back in its prime. All of the frosted glass made it seem kind of sterilized and bland and I'm sure it was anything but that when it was built. There were a few flashes of the past-the cool basement fireplace room and that vivid blue tiling in the upstairs bathroom. To be fair, it would have been a very pretty spa. They did a nice job with the conversion to commercial. Thanks for keeping us entertained over the holidays!

I kind of agree with what you're saying, a lot of that distracted from the home and kind of made some rooms really hard to visualize how they would have been used, and it really takes away a lot of the sense of the size too because many rooms had barriers taking up space separating the room. I think the house would have seemed a lot larger and more wide open if that makes sense. Certain areas of the house were easier to visualize how it was in the past though. But yes it was a sterile type of environment like a commercial place would have been, they did a decent job doing that I'll say that. That blue tiling was some of the best I've ever seen anywhere.
