So glad you are back Dani - Hope you enjoyed your vacation. Sorry for your cristata - hope it makes it - keep us posted. In your absence I watched a lot off your older video's and I was thinking how great it is what all I learned from you in the short period I follow you. Keep doing the great work and thank you for all your efforts.
SO SAD BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE!I FEEL REALLY BAD FOR THE ORCHID! I thankfully saved my orchids from the mushy brown rotting thing. YOUR PLANTS ARE TRULY BEAUTIFUL😄I REALLY WISH THE BEST FOR THE COELOGYNE. HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Looks like you made the best of a bad situation. I've got one as well, was damaged during shipment, never really recovered... it's just hanging in there. My guess is that high temps and lack of water while you were on Holidat, compromised the immune system of your orchid, allowing bacteria to gain a foothold. Looking forward to an update on this one! 🌱
How can I care for curly leaves on mine. I just followed your instructions on this video and I thank you for sharing! I’ve got 3 leaves and they are pretty curly and hard. Can I help them? Or is it what it is? Thx your videos old and new are so informative!!
This same thing happend to my cristata . This is worse, just try to remove all the rotting parts ( i had 6 pseudobulbs only 2 were ok). put a lot of fungicide in water and dip the unaffected pseudobulbs in it for 10- 15 minuites and then plant them in new and sterile DRY media hope it works for you . Mine unaffected pseudos are doing great . Do try this method.
refering to previous my questions - my cristata is currently potted in bark- please advise me as it does need re-potting and we are about to enter into our spring season here- thank you
Hello thanks for your precious infos i learnt a lot through you. Im so sad about your orchid by the way i hope it can do well soon. But i have quetion about my phalaenopsis orchid. I put my orchid outside i mean my balcony where takes a lot of wind and light. Even though everything is ok. My neighbour's windows are reflecting sunshine for an hour. And something distracted me on the leaves of my orchid. Edges of leaves were slightly yellow. Can that light be counted as direct sun? Or is any kinds of sunlight harmful to it? Thanks for now. Love your videos ☺😁
Yeah, a vanda recap would be nice I think. Are those blooms on the V. denisoniana the ones it came with or another spike? I am interested in seeing how you keep your renantheras. I have to use bottled water so I can't really soak my orchids if I had a vanda :( I used to have a ren monachica but it died of black rot :( came with it sadly
The same happened to my coelogyne lactea. Didn’t find a good reason for what happened. The bulbs and leaves look fine even after a year of loosing the rhizome, so it’s a balcony plant now. Of course it can’t recover anymore.

Hi Dani, Would LOVE to see more about your Vandas!! : ))
Yes we want to see your vanda orchids!
So how did she end up? Is she growing back?
refering to previous my questions - my cristata is currently potted in bark- please advise me as it does need re-potting and we are about to enter into our spring season here- thank you
How do you water coelogyne cristata in winter - do they have a rest? How do you fertilize them? What is the best season to repot them?

Bacterial deseases are the worse. good luck Dani
Yes please, update "Vanda" perhaps also include the Neos?
Wow! Hope your orchid makes it! How long do you think it will be before you can tell if your divisions are going to make it?
Hi Dani! Are you switching to Semi-water?
+Zorayda Espiritu you mean semi hydro? (there is a huge difference) well only for the new orchids but.. I am thinking about a total switch yes :)
Yes, vanda update ;)
Where did you get your scissors?
+Sharonkay Schutjer just an average garden center :)
How about coelgynee in swc?
Sees thumbnail screams WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO
Out of respect for you, could you tell me how you spell your name?
+Laurie G. however you like, it's just a nickname :)
