Good video. Our Simpson arrived without any 7:46 manuals. We couldn’t be sure where to add the oil but eventually figured it out. Then we thought we would break the throttle by moving it was so tight. Finally. Our gas tank cap froze on the machine after using the it for 1st time. No way of removing without drilling it off, so returning the unit.
Ok so like shown in this video where the oil dip stick is which is where you add oil as well, my pressure washer has another BLACK oil twist cap with no dipstick do you know what it is?
The throttle lever u mention that it’s stuff, how stiff is yours? I just bought my pressure washer and the lever is so hard that when trying to move it the whole pressure washer itself moves like if I wanted to spin around
Youre right! My simpson is exactly as yours, to top it off on the way to the house the oil bottle broke and was halfway emptied, so theres the reason why it wont start. I got it to start earlier and smoked and shut off. I believe the low oil level is the reason as to why it shut off and wont start.
I have the 3700 psi one, I just bough it. Mine has an oil dip stick which is grey and on the other side it has another twisting cap that’s black says oil on it but it has no dip stick do you know what it could be?
Thats the pump oil cap, you do nothing with that one. The one you fill is the engine oil which is the one with the dipstick and you fill it through there. Try to use a funnel as its angled
@@UriValdez pump oil cap? Then what about the whole the directly on top of the pump? It has a red plug on it which is the shipping plug and you have to switch it out with a black plug as stated in directions but I thought that’s the oil hole for the pump
The throttle, exactly how stiff is it??? I just bought mine and it’s so stiff that the whole pressure washer itself moves as if I purposely wanted to spin the pressure washer and i feel like I might break it if I try harder
The throttle was very stiff, but moveable. It gets slightly better with use, but it will always be surprisingly stiff. Work it back and forth a few times to break it in.
I shot 3 videos. I'll be uploading the other shortly. It was difficult to get started, but eventually did. There did seem to be a leak at the wand handle, but I put some water on the o-rings, and plugged/unplugged it a few times. That helped, but at an angle (under just hose tap pressure) it still leaked. However, once I fired it up nothing leaked.
@@Pontisteve yes i also had the same issue. I replaced the oring on it and it no longer leaks.. seems the oring from the factory is degraded or too small. Can't wait for thr next videos like actual use!
Thing is the biggest piece of crap I’ve ever bought 3 months old they don’t stand behind nothing the red cap broke it was broke they wanted me to pay 50 bucks for that piece of plastic after spending 700 bucks it glows red hot the exhaust it bounces around if you don’t pay attention it will bounce into your car just a junk set up I got boned buying this piece of junk for sale I’m getting a kranzle

@@ESP12345 ours was not that stiff that it moved the whole machine. that doesn’t sound right but hopefully it will loosen up for you.

On the side of the pump it’s has a SEE THRU wall which lets you see how much oil is in there

Can you do a live demo? Any leaks between hoses, gun, fittings?

If the throttle was lose it would move from vibration.
