Young man, as men we love our mothers. Maybe dad was abit tough, he looks tough anyway but look at your mum and the pain and hell she is going through. Even keep in touch with her. Mpigie, mwambie kama uko sawa or not. Give her assurance and closure by telling her ile kitu ilifanya uhepe. Give your mum the peace of mind she deserves.

Never compare kids against each other. This guy must have felt like a burden to his parents. Spending all that money on expensive schools must have felt like a waste of money to this guy. So instead he decided to do what he thought was best for himself. Parents can sometimes have hard stands on education and for a child who is not good academically, it's demoralizing. That guy will go home only when he is successful to prove a point to them trust me.

I have red most comment, almost everyone is pointing a finger at the parents, For wanting the best for their son... come on people be wise. Which parent deserve to suffer for giving too much love to a child.
We all know how rogue matatu business is, and those who owns them, buy them from the proceeds of other careers or businesses. They wanted a plan B for him a fall back plan..
The best thing you can do is to give them leads and prayers on how to find Kinuthia. The rest is actually irrelevant.
kinuthia your parents love you from here to the moon. reciprocate the love by coming back home, look at the pain in their eyes and just let them know where you are.
Your siblings K,G , K and all who loved you looking towards the gate, with a silent prayer hoping one day the wait will be over.
    Be blessed whenever you are.

God placed Authority on Parents...to train..guide and provide for their children.
And the same God ORDERED the children to obey their parents.
The Bible is clear on THIS.
Nowadays, the children want to tell parents and order them around.
This brings confusion and pain to parents mostly.
Children please obey your parents even when its not what you want at that moment

This can happen when the parents have so high expectations. Let kids be. Not every brain is wired for academics, and not every wealthy person has a formal education. Wazazi tuache kusukuma watoto wetu to be who we want them to be. We need to pray for God to guide them in whatever destiny He has for them.
....I pray that this child will come back home.

  • @antonywamburu5287
    @antonywamburu5287 3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

This is what happens when parents impose their dreams on their children. At that age comparing your kids with others or insisting that what you choose for them is the best for them be it schools, courses, jobs etc can be detrimental and as parents we need to listen and respect our kid's choices as much as we advice them. In this case they tried to impose accountancy on him not considering his interests probably to keep a good family image. I hope Kinuthia is fine wherever he is and he will one day return home to his parents.
Let it be a lesson to others out there too

I feel the pain for these parents. No one can replace kind of that love. To those who are helping young men's and women's out their in making wrong decisions. You are digging your own grave and one day you will be a parent, put your expectations to be the same pain like the one such parents and many our their are going through.
To the parents, balance your work and family. Take time and share more time with your children. That's how you will understand them.
To kinuthia, Rudi nyumbani and wenye are planning to run away from their homes due to house chao's, know you're not the first or the last in that situation. Learn from it and look for counseling If possible

I see some comments here bashing the parents for 'choosing education over a nissan matatu' and for ' comparing him to the sister' bluh bluh.... When you are younger you are naïve and may not see from the level of an older person. Why not finish his accounting course and get himself a matatu nissan on his own?
To those who can afford it, education is the key, not just to affluence of the pocket but of the mind.

Every parent wants the best for their kids and am sure if some of our parents didnt push us through teenage we would have ended up worse than we are....dnt blame the parents.
Secondly,to my fellow youths....lets learn to talk up things and if not only to parents I believe the community and the church is there...everything is solvable.
Finally,I pray for consolation to the Family and I hope that he finds it kind enough to just contact his parents...
