big ten is a bigger mower its different than the b10, and your wrong its 9hp, not 10, its a common misconception people think all these little Allis Chalmers are 10 but their not, the engine plate has the hp on it and the model, its 9hp
Don't really matter you got a bad a-- tractor right there. I've got a 64 B-10 with a 23D. The engine is tired and when it goes I will be putting in a 12hp Kohler.
and your also wrong on your years of when the b10 and big10 came out, first ever tractor made by allis chalmers was the b1 with a 7.25 hp engine in 1961, then came the 9 horsepower B-10 in 1963, and in 1965 the B-10 became the Big-10 with a new 10 horsepower engine, then the b12 in 1966
You have a Model 243431-0123-01 (10hp) Engine in the tractor, NOT a Model 23D-0129-01 (9hp) like you claim... Don't tell me what you think you know about these. I own 20+ of this generation. B-1 7-1/4 HP 1962 Early B-10 9HP 1963-64 BIG 10 10HP 1965 Late B-10 10HP 1966 B-12 12Hp 1966 You have a Late B-10 (the bees on the side and grill are a give away) The Engine IS FLAT(10hp) where the Shaft comes out not coned(9hp).
10hp not a 9hp it has a flat front on the motor and B10 (with the B symbols) should have a 10hp engine My Big Ten was the first year with the 10hp your is the 2nd or third year
How are the duals attached?
