Good shout Guy, great replacement bearings to keep components going that haven’t worn out yet & saving landfill !!Bearings seized in my Sram Gx mech jockeys, found some replacement Enduro bearings at my local supplier Wych bearings in Bromsgrove, pressed out/in & all working fine so far 👍🏼
Agree that good bearings are worth the cost up front. Because if you ride your rig hard, for a long time, frequently dealing with replacing bearings is a big hassle and risky for the frame. I’ve got lots of CK stuff including rear hubs and headsets, most over ten years, and some over twenty years old, that are still on the original bearings and running like new.
@@flybyguy1450 yeah it’s definitely in ‘fossil fuel’ mode ATMO though I treated it to a wash after tonight’s ride as I need to get inside the shock and fork to bump travel up. So that’s probably the next video then I’m down to Fox to get my 34s and 36s updated and hopefully picky up a piggyback or even a coil for it 🤘🏻
@GuyKesTV stoked to see just how well this bike can handle both ends of the spectrum. I love when you can stretch one bike across multiple disciplines with just a few tweaks.
Never had Enduro bearings last more than a few months in linkages. Would get notchy almost instantly. Started using NTN, SKF,FAG etc. never had to replace one yet. One benefit of them is they make sizes to cover all common bike applications.
@ 😂 Definitely not! Looking to swap the rear hub for Hope next time. Mainly as I prefer the feel of Shimano. These Enduro bearings are holding up well so far on my Revel.
Oh Guy I have done 8,000 miles over 2024 my Genesis winter bikes/occasional gravel bike with the Hitmax. A lot o these miles on wet and mucky UK roads still as new.
Hi Guy I have both Hitmax and XD - 15 BB's for Sram DUB. A BSA Hitmax for my Genesis CdF (it is a work of art) and a XD-15 PF41, Both are amazing so far, Just fit and forget. Just ordered a PF41 DUB Stainless steel double row BB bearings. The problem with their Hitmax h/set bearings they don't yet offer much of a size range for the ridiculous number of size variants. The BB work out a bargin. For example my HItmax BSA cost £175.00 fit and forget with a lifetime warranty. Against a SRAM BB with lasts less than a 1000 miles in my experience.
I didn't get spare seals with my XD-15 BB. Actually my only slight criticism is a £275.00 BB was packed in a cardboard box, no paper work. Just a cardboard box same as a industrial bearing. Website has very limited tech documents or in depth install guides.
Every bike I’ve had has always cost me money but always put a smile on my face when I’ve been out on it.. hence them bearings will save you money I reckon in the long term..
Bearings always fascinate and scare me. All the standards, the sizes, the seals... And then there's ceramic... And then the prices! It's like a whole universe you can get sucked into and surface ten years later with a Ph.D. in engineering.

Seeing the twisted trek caked in mud like that makes me excited for the next video in the series!

As soon as my Zipp 3Zero Moto bearings were cooked Enduro went in 👊🏻
@@chimps4gimps that probably wasn’t long till they were cooked either was it?

XD15 bearings are brilliant. I'm slowly changing all my bearings to them.
@@clipsandstrapsjounal the cost stings at first but the smoothness that just gets better over time soon soothes the spend away!

I hope so. The stock headset and rear-triangle bearings in my Oiz barely lasted 6 months/500 miles, now replaced with Enduro brand. [Jon]

An investment is something that puts money back in your pocket 😅 bearings are just an expense. Nevertheless enduro bearings are great 👍🏼
They keep more money in your pocket long term, which is kind of the same thing
