I'm sorry, but no. These Timbaland remixes are an insult to MJ and his legacy and have NOTHING to do with how MJ wanted these songs to sound like. There are literally making off vids where you can see that Timbaland trashes on MJ's demo's and says that he made the songs ''listenable''. The originals are in every way superior to these trashy, blend remixes. The worst part is is that they tried to sell this shit as the real deal, will selling the originals as a deluxe exclusive. So you had to pay extra back in the day to get the REAL MJ versions. Micheal 2010 was already a disaster with its fake ass songs, but Xscape is straight up disrespectful. That you think this shit sounds good is subjective. What is a fact however is that these are no real MJ songs.

I don't like the Michael album since Monster,Keep your head up and Breaking news were not sung by Michael himself. The only song I like from the Michael album is Behind the mask which is a really great song. Xscape is really great for nowadays. Maybe not for back then but for nowadays. I've been a fan for 14 years. Now I'm 19. Of course I prefer the old songs more than the posthumous ones BUT Xscape is really underrated. If it's the mixed album version or the original one. I heard this song in 2008, that’s the original and it’s wayyy better of course, but I can’t find it on youtube. The closest is the one with the fugees (he collaborated with them on this song). If you take out some of the rap that’s pretty much what the original sounds like, the adlibs are placed differently (better) close to the beginning of the song, kinda like songs where he starts off talking like in DSTYGE and then it’s like boom he comes in with the beat and falsetto. With this song it’s the opposite, a small rap comes first then it drowns out, the beat starts to slow down while he does the “nahhhh” adlib. Idk why they rearranged it. Yeah I’m one of “those” fans 🤷🏽♀️. Btw I love the name “savage mike”. It’s true he does have different sides. 1. He’s got the smooth/laidback/happy mike. 2. Save the work and luv da kids/child like mike then 3. Angry (savage) mike. And He started doing this voice change during Bad album sessions, people were talking more and more about the way he looked and lived, and that anger came out in his voice even if he didn’t attend for it too. He has no songs where he sounds like that on thriller or OTW. The closest would probably be Beat it. But bad is when he started to say “eff it”.
