One of my favorite scenes in the movie is the Roma dance scene. That was awesome. Thanks, Mr Zimmer.
One of the big reasons I love Sherlock Game of Shadows more than the first is because its not just a sequel but an evolution, an actual chapter in Watson and Sherlock's lives and the things they have to accomplish to reach that and Zimmer follows that by giving us something new instead of retreading familiar grounds. Good stuff
amazing, Arthur Conan Doyle often reffered to himself as a "bohemian" and I think Hans has really captered tht gypsy side of Sherlock Holmes brilliantly.
As a Romani (Gipsy) i admire and listen to Hans Zimmer, one of my favorite composers. Im glad to see that he is aware of our talent for music
I feel the passion in your music and it makes you want to dance.
I loved watching and listening to this music.
5:25 - DEAL WITH IT :D
The piece that everyone is wondering what they play in this most of the time. It's the part where Sherlock and Watson are first in the tent and they start dancing with the gypsy's, the song is this: 06 Romanian Wind - Hans Zimmer - Sherlock Holmes A Game of Shadows
Amazing!
dude! thats the coolest thing
It is "Romanian Wind", from the Game of Shadows soundtrack. Sorry for my english
Yeah! That’s is what I want to ask. Why is it called „Romanian Wind“ if it’s made in Slovakia?
Wonderful music, a wonderful journey. Thanks for taking us along
And also get to see my good buddy on top of all of it!!!

the Slovaks are not Romanians
I dont even know why you bring Romanians at this conversation , its all about gipsies here . Romanians were never and they are not gipsies .
@@MrSociopatu true but the one of the OSTs is called Romanian winds i belive
Why Romanian Wind...? The gypsies are from Slovakia
they are also called romans in turkey and we call gipsy music "roman havası" which translates to "romanian air"
If for you Romanians are also Romanes then Turks are turkeys 🤔

I actually am confused why of all movies that could rock a theater by doing one of those movie presentations where a live band does the music, sherlock holmes has not done one that i know of.

It's about gipsy musicians living in Slovakia. (not about slovaks)
They are living everywhere from Hungary to Hollywood.
Why he prefer and choosed Slovakia?
I am not surprised they choose Slovakia, they use to record a lot of movie/game music in Bratislava by our national philharmonic :)
@@barbarosa3d239 thats true..Star Trek the movie for example...
what is the name of song that starts at 2:34?
Romanian wind
That’s not what Bratislava looks like btw.
Ur right. Bratislava is a huge city on the border near Austria
@DV1287 Bratislava is anything, but not huge
shame on you !!! those houses are not SLOVAKIA ... filming rubisch, trash on fields and their broke down houses in not SLOVAKIA ... those people are great musicians but they dont care about their living they recieve new houses and in a year they sell what they can because they dont have the same value principle that others ... so mister Zimmer I adore your music but you dont know nothing about them only their shiny musical face
