What are you talking about? Netherlands have a smashing team that could legitamitely fight for the semi finals and Senegal is an outstanding african team. Don't know what there is to complain about
@lamp realistically speaking the best team in that group in terms of talent and consistency is Senegal. Qatar is…..well it’s Qatar, Ecuador is a young exciting team but lack that cemented playing style and experience, they’re one WC cycle away from being a dangerous outfit . Netherlands have quite a few talented players, but they’re overall a bit wishy-washy form wise, Louis Van Gaal may be the difference maker that elevates them above Senegal. For Senegal you’ve got a similar amount of talented players, but they’re definitely more team focused in their approach and have been for a number of years, they play with grit and determination and they’ll probably rise to the occasion knowing they’ve been given a relatively easier draw than what could be expected. In terms of excitement and uncertainty this group is probably the best out of the lot. Unfortunately this video measures quality, and the reality is with the exception of Portugal and Spain, every pot one team should automatically be placed above this group regardless of who the other three teams are in their respective groups. First of all: Netherlands. Besides that, Netherlands have had a few games against big nations where they were outplayed in parts of the game but they very rarely lose those games, that's a quality. And also Netherlands had a penalty wrongly ruled out de technically should even have won
They didn't luckily draw. The Netherlands should have gotten a penalty which was not given. Also the last 20 mins they suddenly had several really good chances in a row. If anything, Germany luckily drew in the end although being stronger in the first half. Should have been 2-1 due to a penalty not given. Group A is such a well balanced and interesting group. Qatar has done well since a lot of their players fell under Xavi’s management at Al Saad. They also made it to semis extra time at the CONCACAF. Ecuador never went below 3rd of the qualifiers until the last week. They thrashed Colombia, dominated Chile & Uruguay and stole points from Brazil and Argentina. VVD, Deligt, Frenkie, Memphis etc. They scored 33 goals in their qualifying group and showed they have the potential.
Group B as the second worst, I really do not get the logic there. If you go off the world rankings, it's one of the toughest groups if not the toughest. I don't think it actually is that tough by the way - but it's not the second worst if Group A is the 4th worst
I feel like Groups A and B will be the BEST groups, in terms of watching the games. A is very even throughout (I guess I'm a little higher on Qatar than you are) and B has so much emotion and so many wildcards in it that I genuinely feel like everyone can beat each other. Can't wait for November

Group H has teams that can "kill" you while Group C has teams that if you play better than them, you are most likely to win the game. Same cases can be made for some of the groups that were not highlighted during the comparison. A and B also has "beatable teams". A and H are the two best from the four bottom groups. Group A has the best teams but Group H has the teams you don't want to face.

Everyone is overestimating Ghana. This is a country that have recently lost to Comoros and couldn't get through their cup of nations group. They're not as strong as they used to be with Essien and Abedi Pele.
In my way of using the term, a Group of Death has to have more top tier teams than there are spots to advance into. So Group E doesn't fit that description, as it has two top teams and two teams will advance.
Was a draw actually, we equalized 94th min from a pen but yeah no way we're better than Scotland. Also while Peru is South American they aren’t at that elite level. Who knows though
I wouldn’t say that about Peru they are doing an awesome work, they were in Copa America semifinal, if I remember correctly, they will qualify for the second World Cup in a row. I think they can surprise everyone there, it is not a noob team.
Talent level is always a personal wiew - based on the clubs the danish players belong, it is pretty good. "Overachieving recently" - In the last 40 years Denmark has been among the better teams, which is stated in the history of FIFA-ranking (1992 - ), where Denmark is the overall 11th best team. Easy group and easy teams ? @@brankobelfranin8815 Look I'm not saying it's going to be easy. It's the World Cup, none of these matches in any of these groups are going to be easy. Some will be quote-unquote easier than others, but none will be easy. Group F is probably one of the more balanced groups out of all of these groups. Belgium's golden generation is on its way out, so while they're still not to be taken lightly by any means, the cracks are forming. Croatia is in a similar position, where they were pretty solid in 2018, but this current squad is on its way out, and they also were not up to the same caliber as Belgium. Canada has a well rounded team of old and new players that just topped CONCACAF and have a system that is very effective, especially with in-game adaptation, but they just showed in the last window that they are still new to the higher pressure situations with losses in Costa Rica and Panama, so while a very talented team, they could crumble under the pressure, especially where each of their opponents were at the last World Cup. Morocco, barring some crazy decision making on the part of their federation to sack Vahid Halilhodžić as head coach, will not have their star striker Hakim Ziyech due to their falling out, so their team while still certainly a wild card l, will also likely be a bit watered down. In the end I want Canada to do the best they can, and I'll be cheering them on the whole way, but a national team hasn't been to the World Cup since 1986. This crew is, in my opinion, probably a more talented squad, but doing well at a World Cup takes more than just talent. The focus for them right now is to just have the experience and lay the groundwork for 2026. Just jumping the bar set by their 1986 counterparts will be an improvement: get 1 goal, get 1 win, get out of the group stage. Anything else after that is gravy. I think Belgium's success will come from not underestimating any of their opponents, and based on the remarks made by their head coach Roberto Martínez, they're doing their research. Croatia's success will come from finding one last push in the tank of that squad, and somehow rediscovering the magic they found four years ago. Canada's success will come from getting themselves into a zero pressure headspace. All their opponents will be playing with something to prove. Canada needs to play with the mentality of nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Morocco's success will come from leaning into their wild card aura and being unpredictable. I think of all of these situations, that Belgium and Canada are the most likely to find that success. I'm not writing off Croatia or Morocco, but I just think they just have a smidge more of an uphill battle. The big thing to remember though, is that the World Cup can in and of itself be unpredictable, like in 2014 when Costa Rica and Uruguay got out of a group over Italy and England. This will be a tournament with some predictability, but there will also be some upsets. I just hope Canada is one of them.
Nigeria is the most capable of putting a competent squad together, but we never are capable of getting a competent manager. Last time was Stephen Keshi who won us 2013 AFCON and got us to 2014 wc r16. What happened after he left? We failed to qualify for the next 2 afcons, eliminated in the group stage of 2018 despite having a much better team with players playing for even better teams in Europe.
Bruh, you contradicted yourself so hard on Group F... You said Canada one of the very few teams to win 6 qualifying games in a row, just to say right after Morocco is worse than you'd think... Let me remind you that Morocco won ALL (6 in a row) of their qualifying group games while only conceding 1 goal and scoring 20 goals. In total we won 7 tied 1 (taking into account DR Congo games) scored 25 and conceded 3. We don't need Ziyech to cause an upset in this group and if I was Croatia or Canada right now I would be nervous as hell. Just look at Alphonso Davies live reaction on stream. Looked more worried about Morocco than Croatia.
You should stop FM before doing this video :p In theory, I agree with you but remember that some teams that overlooked only played small teams and at each international competition, they never go far while other teams that you underlooked performed usually better in big compétitions. They really should have waited until all qualifiers were decided. The draw was too hindered by continental restrictions with teams getting bumped into different groups than they originally drawn into made worse by undecided qualifiers. For example, if New Zealand had already qualified they would likely have ended up in Group B which would have been interesting. Because their tie with Costa Rica is undecided they were prevented from Group B because Costa Rica can’t be in same group as USA. Now if NZ make it they are punished with one of the most difficult groups with Spain and Germany. Just my two cents. Made the draw less pure in my opinion.

That said, obviously Germany are better overall but "Holland luckily drew" is not how it went that match.

Talent level is always a personal wiew - based on the clubs the danish players belong, it is pretty good. Commented for the algorithm.
I feel group A deserve to be lower on your list. No disrespect to the teams but in comparaison to others I feel it's a bit of an easier group
I mean there are no absolute easy draws in the World Cup Finals (apart from Qatar lol) however I definitely feel like England definitely drew the 2 easiest draws from both Pot B & Pot C in the USA & IR Iran. That being said "easier" draws always mess us English up lol Also that final draw from Pot D was defo the hardest fixture from the last pot. Whether Ukraine Scotland or Wales go through they'd all be favourites for 2nd Imo
Uruguay worse than Mexico? We changed the coach and the new one won the 4 matches we played. Uruguay has Suarez and Cavani. Darwin Nuñez shinning in Benfica, even against champions league teams. The midfielders are Real Madrid Valverde and Tottenham Bentancur. Both young, starters in their teams and great technical players. Besides them we have the Brazilian league best midfielder De Arrascaeta and Torreira doing great in Fiorentina. Also Pellistri (20 years old, bought by Manchester United) did great the last matches.
In the back we have Araujo, starter in Barcelona, one of the best young talents of the world. Other defenders include Josema Gimenez, starter in Atletico Madrid, Godin, Coates (Sporting Lisboa) and Olivera (Getafe). All good players. The goalkeeper Rochet is doing great in local football, benching Fenerbache Muslera. Mexico? I don't know many teams this world cup with a better squad than Uruguay.
Man americans don't know much about soccer they think that concacaf are in an acceptable level and Mexico is their highest reference, so don't get angry . It's obvious that Uruguay may win their group if they beat Portugal.
@@heeya6127 Thank you for your understanding. I wasn't angry, I was pointing out some facts but with internal peace. If I'm gonna suffer of anger every time someone says something ignorant I would live suffering.
I swear weren't Iran one open net miss away from knocking Portugal out at the group stages in 2018? So much for "already decided"
I'm definitely gonna watch most matches of B, E, and H.
Most boring group goes to D and F. Obvious qualifying teams to me. C and G only has 1 good team but it'll be tight for the 2nd place.
Don't know anything about Peru, but I can confirm that Australia are so bad we will be lucky to beat UAE, so highly unlikely to beat Peru.
You guys can beat the UAE but Peru is a tough one
This is so sad. As an Aussie I can't imagine us not making the world cup this year but I just know we're gonna get knocked out
@@lachlankerry4435 Peru has to play against very difficult teams in south america like Brazil and Argentina that's why they get strong, but if you had had to be in the play off with Costa Rica you would have chances to win. That is not the case
Group H is probably the most interesting group wtf, I’m not from any of those countries but that’s a group that literally has 4 teams that can go far asf in the World Cup or completely choke, Portugal can go out in the group stage but they’re also a dark horse to win the whole thing too bad their coach is a joke, Uruguay is always a team that complicates the heavy hitters, South Korea is good too and they beat Germany last time, and Ghana is the African team who’s been furthest in a World Cup and after the qualifiers clearly they have some luck bc they’re in the World Cup somehow plus their rematch vs Uruguay is gonna be juicy
Thank you for your assessment of Group F, as a Canadian, I wholeheartedly agree.
You agree that Canada will be second in the group? How?
I just hope Canada is one of them.
whoever was the editor put Australia's flag as Austrias
Ecuador vs Senegal might be the most athletic game of all time. The pace kings. RIP to the fullbacks
Zealand, what are your thoughts about FIFA plans in making the World Cup every 2 years?
Well it's good to be underestimated, I'm a Croatia fan.
Serbia 🇷🇸🏆❤️❤️
Kkkkk oiiiiiiii
Austria's flag instead of Australia's at 11:29. One editor is being disciplined for his poor form in his last game...
Happens when you gotta turnaround a video in less than 12 hours
@@iamAyal yeah I know, it's just a joke 😂. I liked the changing flags animations for the undefined spots 👍🏻
You should stop FM before doing this video :p
In theory, I agree with you but remember that some teams that overlooked only played small teams and at each international competition, they never go far while other teams that you underlooked performed usually better in big compétitions.
Anyway, can't wait to see which one is right :D
I feel like theres not a single good group tbh, there are no like super exciting matches I look forward too, maybe UK - USA has some derby-ish atmosphere to it
Like I would have loved a Netherlands - Belgium or Germany, or a rematch between Germany and South Korea etc
Germany - Spain isn't exciting to you? Portugal - Uruguay or France - Denmark? I think any of these 6 teams are way more interesting than seeing De Bruyne & Co bottle it again
I feel like all the groups (with the exception of D and G which feel like repeat groups from 2018) are interesting in some way. Group B looks like a total banter group. Also you cannot tell me you're not excited to see Uruguay vs Ghana, the best re-match rivalry match to be drawn
England and the devolved nations are not UK for the world cup, they're separated. If either of Wales or Scotland make the group, them Vs England is absolutely a derby - same as it was at the euros
@@adikiba20 What are you even talking about ? "bottling"...Has nothing to do with what he said. He said he wants more derby games. Belgium - Netherlands and Germany - Netherlands are well known derbies in football. Anyway, i think the groups are very good overall with some interesting games, but i also see why a neutral fan would want some more "classical" games.
Hardest group are Brazil,Serbia,Swizerland and Cameron
They really should have waited until all qualifiers were decided. The draw was too hindered by continental restrictions with teams getting bumped into different groups than they originally drawn into made worse by undecided qualifiers. For example, if New Zealand had already qualified they would likely have ended up in Group B which would have been interesting. Because their tie with Costa Rica is undecided they were prevented from Group B because Costa Rica can’t be in same group as USA. Now if NZ make it they are punished with one of the most difficult groups with Spain and Germany. Just my two cents. Made the draw less pure in my opinion.
What’s our bloody luck as an Aussie that if we even make the WC we get paired with France and Denmark AGAIN!!!
Iran could very well step their game up vs all the sides. Not only for the political will to beat those sides but they are playing in heat they are used to. Can imagine quite alot of the iranians will travel to there.
It will be freezing in qatar in november
Z testing the fate... we have to look back at this video after the WC...
