I don't think that the poet is relifed rather he regrets . We also need to justify the topic . So according to the topic the road not taken means the poet regrets that if he would have taken the other road than the situation would have been much better . Whatever I'm in a bit confusion whether I'm correct or not . I would request u to answer

If we see from one side, he is happy that yes, he had taken the right path...
But if we see from the other side, he may not be happy that he had taken that path, means he thinks that he should choose other one...😒

As he had the doubt about his choice but he had chosen what he likes. And more over both were equally challenging, and he said that choosing the road travelled by less people is what had made a difference, means that choosing that made him unique in a way.
