    1- Tony Williams
    2- Lenny White
    3- Alphonse Mouzon
    4 - Billy Cobham
What about doing a show about 1975 keyboards albums : Jan Hammer "The First Seven Days", Herbie Hancock " Man-Child",George Duke "The Aura Will Prevail" or "I Love the Blues she Heard my Cry"and Barry Miles "Magic Theater" ?

Listened to these over and over and over. Tremendous. From my novice ears 👂. One 1️⃣ and 2️⃣= credit card separation. For today anyway. 1- Mouzon 2- Williams. 3- Cobham. 4- White. 4 th song on Tony Williams - Red ALERT ‼️- absolutely SMOKES. Pete/ GEORGE: / Eric - thank you 🙏 for all your time & effort, each month enabling me to learn a genre, that I had zero interest or knowledge in prior to the mighty “ trio “. 👍💯

Incredible players and albums ! Its very hard for me to rank them because they great, all of them albums ! The one I less connect with is Venusian Summer because maybe its a bit new agy and cosmic for me at times but still I find it very interesting. Great stuff and Im glad to be here in the chat with you all guys, God bless you all, peace out ! 👍 Louis

Great list of albums, my number one was easy as Tony Williams is my favourite drummer of all time! Here’s my ranking:
    1) The Tony Williams Lifetime - Believe It
    2) Lenny White - Venusian Summer
    3) Alphonse Mouzon - Mind Transplant
    4) Billy Cobham - A Funky Thide Of Sings

Really looking forward to this one. Anything drum-centric is going to catch my attention. Unfortunately, I don’t know these Cobham or White albums, so I’ll have to try to listen sometime in the next day or two.
The other two albums are really great. Red Alert is my go to track on the Tony Williams album. Don’t know if I’m remembering correctly, but I think Vinnie Colaiuta used the Red Alert groove and bass line on the track Slink on his solo album. You ever hear that, George?
Also, other great releases from that year. Not drummer releases, but great drumming by Jack Dejohnette on Abercrombie’s Timeless, and Mike Clark on Flood by Herbie Hancock. 1975 was a good year!

For me as a (veery limited) Drummer myself, the Cobham is hands down, my #1 Album of the 4 Its a great fusion album and my fav track IS THE 10 Minute drum solo on it. I feel cheated if I buy a Cobham album and there is NO solo piece on ot. Also-the last 12 minute long track doesent go over as well, because it Billy Playing Mainstream Jazz, as opposed to fusion. its straight ahead. The other albums, save for Tony and Alphonze, Im aware of,but Iplan to check both of those out cause Ive heard Pete brag about them for years. Good fusion show Yall.

Hi Pete, in answer to your question at 18:39 about what else Doug Rodrigues has played on, he also contributed rhythm guitar to Santana's Caravanserai album and played with Mandrill. He is more of a funk rhythm guitar player than a lead player.

Well this month was a head melter. The five discs are all 5 out of 5 stars. Hair splitting as I hear them:
    4. Billy Cobham - "A Funky Thide of Sings"
    3. Lenny White - "Venusian Summer"
    2. The New Tony Williams Lifetime - "Believe It"
    1. Alphonse Mouzon - "Mind Transplant"
Considering #5 it would be right smack in the middle (#3 of the 5)
