Well, 4 seasons later he's still making the game even more enjoyable and fun to watch. The one thing I've come to realize is he's got a "spiritual" thing him & his game. He reminds me of Larry Bird. A winner, never tires, practices nonstop, turned his team into an instant winner & a team every other team in the league must deal with & go through. I've never seen one player who just simply "has it" and causes other teams to make plans in dealing with him all game. The thing is there isn't any way to "deal" with him. He's like Aaron Donald & Larry Bird. Doesn't matter what the opponent does, the opponent will lose. Fun to watch

The 2nd and 30 is when I knew Patrick Mahomes and that Offense woke up but the main CAVEAT to this game was TURNOVERS specifically the Hook N'Ladder play albeit it wasn't a TURNOVER but that wasn't the BEST play to run in that scenario.
I don't usual watch NFL but that was one of the better games I've seen.
Mahone an Kansas city are having a good season so far but a couple years ago Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys had the same type of season and pretty soon the players in the league will figure out his little plan and they're going to pop him one good time out there and it's going to all over and all the hoopla and hype will be over with so let's watch the next four games which will lead up to the halfway point of the season and it will be the telling point 🏋 story of the mahome Saga 👌👌👌👍✌

Something I don’t understand is how in Denver they are well elevated and the altitude does not effect everyone that goes there.

So happy to say this kid proved me wrong. I knew he would be pretty good, they didn't just get rid of Alex Smith and make him their franchise for no reason, but I expected him to take some time to adjust and struggle just a bit and then figure it out down the line later in the season. No way I could have predicted him to have 14 TDs and no picks 4 games in to the year.
So happy for the Chiefs and all the Chiefs fans out there, you guys finally got a legit young franchise QB and you deserve it. KC is one of the oldest and honorable franchises in the league, but haven't been anything special in a very long time. Mahomes is showing me he is changing that. I'm not from KC but I do live in Missouri, and I have been to a Chiefs game at Arrowhead. Now that the Rams moved to LA the only NFL team in the state is the Chiefs. I'm not jumping on their bandwagon or anything, but I've always liked them and I will be rooting for them in the AFC to win it all (and red happens to be my favorite color too lol).
They will definitely make the playoffs, but I need to see them win a playoff game or 2 before I'm truly ready to buy in to them as true Super Bowl contenders. I'm a huge Andy Reid fan, but let's face it, he's kind of known as a big choker at this point. The Chiefs always do great at the beginning of the year like this, they peak too early. They do mediocre throughout the middle of the season, then get it somewhat together near the end but still stumble in to the playoffs and lose.
But I know that was Alex Smith's Chiefs and this is Pat Mahome's team now, which is a completely different story. Not hating on KC, just need to see them prove it in the post season. Good luck though guys I'll be cheering you on every step of the way :)
