Hmmm... not sure I agree with the panel. 1) The root behind Fiscal Dominance is out-of-control deficit spending, and that is not a taxing problem but a spending problem. I am shocked that the panel expert advocated for more taxes without highlighting that no sustainable solution can be reached without ultimately resolving the exacerbated public spending first. 2) In order to solve the Fiscal Dominance and defict spending problem, you dont need a modern era Alexander Hamilton to lead the change. What you need is the median voter to wisen up and to not feel entitled for a lifestyle above his means, always asking for free stuff, subsidies, debt condonations, regulations, etc. It is not a political problem but a cultural problem. Politicians simply adapt to those desires, so we have the politicians we deserve, period.
