....You do realize that most roles in theatre, especially in amature theatre are a casted gender blind? Often times there will be boys casted in female roles and vice versa. Heck, I was cast for the part of a male pirate last year. It's normal!
@Jonathan McVay Then you of all people should be able to see that some roles (such as Leaf, who is often played as nonbinary anyways) can be played by almost any gender. While I respect how long you've been in the business, I also beg you to realize that in theatre, most roles can be played by a woman or a man, regardless of which gender it was initially written for. @@catkat9901 while some roles CAN be played by either males or females, some roles still play better and are more effective in the original incarnation. Leaf is one. The voice of the plant in Little Shop of Horrors. I can’t think of any traditionally female roles that can be played by men unless it’s a dame role.

This has nothing to do with her talent. Leaf is written as a male role. It doesn’t work for a woman.
